Bronch cultures show that I have a fungal infection. Should have 3 more days in the hospital as they adjust my immunosuppressant meds around the treatment for the fungus, followed by 6 months of home treatment. We may still have to treat for acute reject. Depends on lung function – at Dallas, TX
View from the 10th floor of my home away from home. They have ruled out most viral and bacterial infections. It will be Monday before the fungal cultures can grow. I either have a fungal lung infection or an acute rejection. We’ll know Monday afternoon.

Last Fall we won a stay @GaylordTexan from @NBCDFW. We were supposed to stay in December but I had a bit of an acute rejection, plus Covid infection rate was increasing, so we were not able to go. The Gaylord was awesome enough to extend the time to visit and today's the day 😎
