2 years ago, Dre Greenlaw cited DeForest Buckner as a player who helped him a lot during his rookie season.
The 49ers rookies and young players will benefit greatly with the leader BACK!

Buckner was a BIG reason Arik Armstead broke out in 2019. Should have the same impact on Osa.
#49ers Osa Odighizuwa (77.5%) and DeForest Buckner (76.6%) rank 19th and 21st, respectively, in NFL in double team rate among defensive tackles.
Lining up next to each other should create more 1v1 opportunities for both. Add DE Nick Bosa back to the mix and there's even more.
DeForest Buckner is BACK!
Not only do the 49ers bolster their defensive front and clap back at the Seahawks, but they also correct a past mistake. ⬇️⬇️⬇️

You’re welcome 49ers fan. 🤭🤣
Seahawks bolstered their ranks with a big-time trade for All-Pro OL Quenton Nelson.
The 49ers cannot let that move go unanswered. Here is how they can PERFECTLY respond to it.

First, it was Dre Greenlaw who returned to the 49ers. Then it was Deebo Samuel.
Now, it’s DEFOREST BUCKNER. Woo boy.
Only a 4th round pick!?!!
Sources: The #Colts will receive a 4th-round pick in exchange for DeForest Buckner, per sources.
Was the most OBVIOUS move to make. Kudos to the 49ers and John Lynch!
Trade: Colts are sending three-time Pro-Bowl DT DeForest Buckner back to the 49ers, the team that made him a 2016 first-round pick before dealing him to Indianapolis in 2020, per me and @rapsheet. Now Buckner returns to San Francisco, fortifying the 49ers defensive line.
Brian Thomas Jr. keeps getting pushed on the 49ers as if he’s some amazing player. It’s wild.
"That could flip the whole damn NFC on top of its head right now. So I expect John Lynch to continue to make calls. I need Buckner. I need Brian Thomas Jr. I need all hands on deck."
@BontaHill reacts to the news that the Seahawks are acquiring G Quenton Nelson from the Colts

Bye Week is the only chance the 49ers have for Pineiro to turn it around. He can use this as a mental reset and come back good as new.
If not, his struggles will be everlasting and likely cost them a game, or worse, the season.
#49ers John Lynch on Eddy Piñeiro:
"We don't have a kicker tryout. We have a lot of belief in Eddie. He has had a tough run early this year, but we extended Eddie for his body of work with us but then throughout the history of his career. He's going through a rough patch right now....We have belief in Eddie, and we're going to ride with him."

Well, that makes facing Seattle again tougher on the 49ers
Trade: Colts have agreed to send eight-time Pro-Bowl guard Quenton Nelson to the Seattle Seahawks, per me and @rapsheet. Nelson is on an expiring contract and the Colts are opting to get back draft capital now before they could lose him in free agency.
But an all-time Colt now moves on to the Seahawks.
