Key #Gold & #Silver market dates to keep on your radar through October. ETF OPEX, COMEX gold/silver OPEX, futures last trade dates, and US/Canada market holidays. These are the dates where liquidity, positioning, and volatility can sometimes matter more than usual. Save it if you trade $GLD, $SLV, $GDX, $GDXJ, gold, silver or mining stocks. Oh and yeah - Repost for good karma ;)

Here is a cheat sheet to build a core portfolio around, and your future will likely look very bright until #Gold and #Silver finally top. (In my opinion we still have a few years left in this #Bullrun) RETWEET and spread the word. Anyone focused on these stocks over the coming years has a real chance to make a fortune.

As explained below, TACO is the worst case, and Trump knows it. But this has already become more of a political war at home than a military one abroad. Tehran understands that. America can have the strongest military in the world, but without public backing for the president, it is strategically hollow. Sadly, Trump, the golfer from Mar-a-Lago, never prepared his base for this, or for higher-for-longer oil. Instead, he makes a point of insulting allies from London to Tokyo. Nor did he read his Clausewitz. He does not understand the fog of war. He acted like a king, not a democratically elected president who must build alliances before, not in the middle of, a war, at home and abroad. Now the fog of war collides with his midterms. Instead, he got high on MOBs and B-2s, and on “grabbing the oil”. Meanwhile, Hegseth “kills” more generals, and with them institutional knowledge and professionalism at home, than in Iran. That is not winning. Nor is it the promised “Asia pivot” that armchair geopolitical experts sold for two years. If anything, it plays into Beijing’s hands. The US military and the Israel Defense Forces may still bail him out. But at this stage that would be luck, and luck tends to reward the prepared. Not this. As Johann Wolfgang von Goethe put it, “es ist das Fällige was zufällt”, a precise wordplay on chance and inevitability. Trump will not have read him either. Clausewitz, Goethe, NATO, European “trash”, right? Yet the US Navy lacks sufficient operational mine countermeasure capacity, while NATO allies and Japan do. This war does not need more B-2s. It may need, among other things, naval convoys to reopen the Strait, which requires a coalition of the willing. A bit of diplomacy would assemble that quickly. Should Trump walk away from unfinished business, bilateral agreements between blocs and Iran may restore some traffic without convoys, and in the process declare the petrodollar system history and gold an even bigger winner. But I doubt this will get us back to 100%. Alternatively, the US, and with it the world, may have to relearn old tanker-war lessons the hard way. Give it a few weeks and the US military may destroy every target it can find, yet still lose the war, and the peace that follows. I hope not, but the political blame game in Washington is already in full swing. That is the setup. Markets remain unprepared for higher-for-longer oil globally, and for fuel shortages coming in April.
Getting to “day one” is the real problem. Best case is May but it could easily take months. Most are conflating TACO with a reopening of the Strait. They are not the same. TACO doesn’t reopen anything. Instead, it entrenches Tehran’s veto. TACO is the worst case for markets. Even if flows resume after TACO, this won’t be a switch flip. It will be messy, partial, and conditional — think bilateral carve-outs with “friendly” countries. Russian style. Full normalization likely requires either new pipeline capacity that bypasses Tehran’s tollbooth, or a credible international naval effort (and likely boots on the ground) to finish what Trump started and may yet abandon. A “deal” is entertainment for the masses. Markets are not priced for this.

24h ago I was discussing how paper price suppression on commodities across the board, not only on gold or silver, was creating significant if not extreme shortages of inventory available to settle futures contracts Today the LME halts trading on all futures contracts
I truly enjoyed this chat with @maneco1964 and Clive Thompson. I believe many share the same questions we answered on Crude Oil, Gold, Silver, and the current Macro environment. youtube.com/watch?v=8dJXU9VU…

Silver is making higher highs and higher lows. That is usually a pretty dependable indicator that price is in the advancing phase of a new intermediate cycle. If silver rallies back above the March 2 high of $97.50 that will cement the advancing phase scenario by making a second higher high and confirming the breakdown below the 50 day moving average was a bear trap.

DID YOU KNOW… the U.S. government officially added SILVER to its CRITICAL MINERALS LIST in 2025? 🇺🇸 This means silver is now recognized as a material that is essential to the nation’s economy and national security, and whose supply could be vulnerable to disruption. 📜 How it happened: The U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI), working through the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), periodically reviews which materials are vital to the United States. Using a supply-risk and economic-importance model required by federal law, scientists evaluated dozens of minerals and metals. In November 2025, the updated U.S. Critical Minerals List was released, and SILVER was officially added. 🔬 Why silver qualified: For a material to be labeled a CRITICAL MINERAL, it must meet two main criteria: it must be economically important to the U.S. and its supply chain must be vulnerable. Silver scored high in both categories. It plays a key role in electronics, solar panels, batteries, medical technology, and advanced manufacturing, making it essential to modern infrastructure and future technologies. ⚠️ Supply chain risk: Another reason silver made the list is that the United States relies heavily on imports for much of its supply. A significant portion of the silver used in the U.S. comes from other countries, particularly Mexico, the world’s largest silver producer. If exports were disrupted, it could affect industries ranging from renewable energy to high-tech electronics. 🏭 A metal hidden inside other mines: Interestingly, most silver isn’t mined on its own. It is often produced as a byproduct of mining for other metals such as copper, lead, zinc, and gold. That means silver supply can be indirectly affected by changes in those industries, which adds another layer of vulnerability to global supply chains. 🔎 Why this matters: Being placed on the U.S. CRITICAL MINERALS LIST doesn’t mean silver is rare, it means it’s strategically important. The designation helps guide government policy, research funding, and supply-chain planning to ensure industries that depend on silver can continue to operate without disruption. In other words, silver isn’t just a precious metal, it’s officially recognized as a CRITICAL MATERIAL for the modern world.

Check out these three very old Chinese paintings I own and used AI to learn more about this morning. Two are hand-painted on silk, and the third is painted on traditional Xuan (rice) paper. All three likely date to around 1890–1915 in the Jiangnan region of China, during the late Qing / early Republic era. 1⃣ - The first silk painting appears to illustrate the famous Chinese story “Sima Guang Smashes the Vat.” In the story, a child falls into a large water jar while playing. Instead of panicking, Sima Guang breaks the jar with a rock so the water drains out and the boy survives. It’s a classic Chinese lesson about quick thinking and courage. 2⃣ - The second silk painting shows a scholar reading inside a study while two younger men stand outside by the water. Scenes like this were common in Chinese art and symbolized respect for education and scholarship, core ideas in Confucian culture. 3⃣ - The third painting, done on crinkled Xuan paper, depicts a windy coastal travel scene. A traveler walks along a raised bridge through marsh reeds while the wind blows so hard it sends another traveler’s straw hat flying. These kinds of scenes were meant to capture the beauty and unpredictability of nature. All three paintings include handwritten calligraphy and carved seals, suggesting they came from a Suzhou painting studio, where artists produced narrative and everyday-life scenes for collectors around 1900. Pretty amazing to think these paintings have survived over 100 years and still tell stories today.

DID YOU KNOW… On average, it would take about 415 TONS of ordinary crustal rock to find just ONE TROY OUNCE of silver? That number comes from silver’s typical crustal abundance of around 0.075 PARTS PER MILLION (PPM), which sits right in the middle of the commonly cited 0.05–0.1 ppm range. When you run the math using 31.1 grams for a troy ounce, it works out to roughly 415 metric tonnes of average rock. ℹ️What does that really mean? It means silver is incredibly dispersed throughout the Earth’s crust. If you could somehow grind up huge portions of continental crust, mix everything together evenly, and measure it out uniformly, you would only average about one ounce of silver for every 415 tons of rock. That is what “average crust” means. It does not represent ore. It represents background geological distribution. ⛏️Fortunately, we do not mine average crust. Silver is typically extracted from highly CONCENTRATED DEPOSITS formed by natural geological processes such as hydrothermal activity. These processes move metals through fluids and redeposit them into veins and sulfide ore bodies where concentrations can be hundreds or even thousands of times higher than background crustal levels. That is why roughly 70–80% of global silver production comes as a BY-PRODUCT of copper, lead, and zinc mining. Silver naturally accumulates alongside these metals in polymetallic ore systems. So the 415-ton figure is not a mining ratio. It is a reminder of how rare silver actually is in the Earth as a whole. The fact that we can mine it at all is proof that geology does not distribute metals evenly. It concentrates them in just the right places.

So now you understand the stakes—so tell me, why wouldn’t you prepare? Why wouldn’t you stockpile physical assets while you still can? Why trust a system poised to lock you into a state-controlled digital currency? Why hold paper when you could hold physical gold in your hands? And why leave everything inside a collective Western financial machine that’s already building the cage? The future isn’t just uncertain. It’s dystopian.

Pretty obvious to me that he is trying to use his influence to steer the narrative in the direction of his own investment positioning for the moment. He probably sold alot of silver recently or to early and been adding the dip in bitcoin so he is overweight bitcoin currently. And suddenly Bitcoin is the best investment again.. Or he sold silver to early around $50 and loaded bitcoin to high and needs it to go up again to repair losses. I dont trust what he says anymore as he have gone rogue for what looks like "own interests"

They are not in the same league and can not be compared. Gold is unique as it is not man made, exists thanks to Mother Earth, was here before humanity and will be here after humanity. It holds properties of value and can not be replaced in its sense of existence. Gold will forever be of value as it preserves value over time and have valuable properties that can not be replaced or copied. Bitcoin on the other hand is only viewed valued when it goes up in price. It’s a speculative token that people only value as a vehicle to grow their wealth. If and when Bitcoin stops go up in price, people will no longer want to own it. Bitcoin is not unique and you can create endless coins with the exact same coding and limit the supply to 21 million. You can even create better ones that are more secure, faster, cheaper to transact etc. So it’s not unique in its own world. Bitcoin isn’t even superior in its own space. The only thing that Bitcoin has going for it is that it’s been marketed and hyped the most and been the most well known blockchain technology out there. But as the journey to riches already has been done in bitcoin, the purpose to own it will just go down more and more over time. Then it will be replaced with a new story that’s gonna become even more popular. People will go to where there is money to be made. The day Bitcoin stops making people money is the day it dies. And that day will come. Gold is forever, Bitcoin is temporary.

Both the paper markets for silver and gold have long been suppressed by Western banks. Ironically, this very manipulation has made it extremely affordable for China to stack massive amounts of physical Gold and Silver. The real war may never be decided on the battlefield — but in the wallets and balance sheets. The West will struggle to fund its enormous military spending indefinitely, as currency debasement erodes their purchasing power and leaves them unable to afford it.

🚨 HERE’S WHY BITCOIN IS NONSTOP DUMPING RIGHT NOW If you still think $BTC trades like a supply-and-demand asset, you MUST read this carefully. Because that market no longer exists. What you’re watching right now is not normal price action. It’s not “weak hands.” It’s not sentiment. And it’s definitely not retail selling. Most people are completely unaware what’s happening. And by the time it becomes obvious, the damage is already done. This move didn’t start today. It’s been building quietly under the surface for months. And now it’s accelerating. Here’s the truth: The moment supply can be synthetically created, scarcity is gone. And when scarcity is gone, price stops being discovered on-chain and starts being set in derivatives. That is exactly what happened to Bitcoin. And it’s the same structural break that already happened to: → Gold → Silver → Oil → Equities Once derivatives took over. The original Bitcoin thesis is broken. Bitcoin’s valuation was built on two ideas: → A hard cap of 21 million → No rehypothecation That framework died the moment Wall Street layered this on top of the chain: → Cash-settled futures → Perpetual swaps → Options → ETFs → Prime broker lending → Wrapped BTC → Total return swaps From that point forward Bitcoin supply became theoretically INFINITE. Not on-chain. But in price discovery, which is what actually matters. Synthetic Float Ratio (SFR). The metric that explains everything. Once synthetic supply overwhelms real supply, price no longer responds to demand. It responds to positioning, hedging, and liquidation flows. Wall Street can now trade against Bitcoin. They’re not guessing direction. They’re doing what they do in every derivatives-dominated market: 1⃣ Create unlimited paper BTC 2⃣ Short into rallies 3⃣ Force liquidations 4⃣ Cover lower 5⃣ Repeat This isn’t “betting.” It’s inventory manufacturing. One real BTC can now simultaneously back: → An ETF share → A futures contract → A perpetual swap → An options delta → A broker loan → A structured note All at THE SAME TIME. That’s six claims on one coin. That is not a free market. That is a fractional-reserve price system wearing a Bitcoin mask. Ignore it if you want, but don’t pretend you weren’t warned. I’ve been calling Bitcoin tops and bottoms for over a decade now, and I’ll do it again in 2026. Follow and turn on notifications before it's too late.

Imagine you walk into a casino... You sit down at a slot machine. You put in your life savings. You pull the lever. 7-7-7. Jackpot. You just won millions. But before the machine pays out... the Casino Manager walks over, reaches behind the machine, and pulls the plug from the wall. The screen goes black. He looks at you and says: "Sorry, technical glitch. The casino wins." You would burn the building down. You would call the police. You would scream that it’s a scam. Well, that is exactly what just happened to ANYONE who bought silver And nobody is going to jail. Here is the scam that just played out in front of your eyes: Big Banks (like JP Morgan) bet that the price of Silver would go DOWN. But regular people started buying. The price went UP. The Banks were losing billions. They were about to go bankrupt. So what did they do? Did they pay up? Did they admit they lost? No. They literally turned off the computer. The London Metal Exchange "paused" trading. HSBC's systems "went offline." They unplugged the slot machine while you were winning. While the screens were off, they changed the rules. They forced the price down behind closed doors. When they turned the screens back on, your profit was gone. They kept their money. You lost yours. This isn't a "free market." It is a rigged game where the house cheats the moment you start winning. There are 300 paper "IOUs" for every 1 ounce of real silver in the vault. They sold you gold and silver that doesn't exist. And when you tried to cash out, they locked the doors. Stop playing by their rules. They will never let you win. The only way to win is to buy the physical asset they can't turn off. Or watch exactly when they pull the plug so you can get out first....
