New week, fresh tape. After Friday's selloff, futures are bouncing this morning — NQ near 28,770, ES near 7,650, gold back near 3,900. Big week ahead: ISM today, jobs Friday. I'm watching, not chasing. Patience first.

Sunday reset question: what's the one thing you're working on this week? For me it's patience — waiting for my setup instead of forcing a trade. What's yours?

Sunday thread for newer traders: a losing trade doesn't mean your plan is broken. One loss is just data. The damage comes from what you do next — doubling size, jumping back in, changing the plan mid-day.

If I didn't follow it, that's the real lesson, not the money. Write that down too. Most traders review their P&L at night. Review your decisions instead — that's what repeats next week.

Rule that helps me: after two losses in a row, I'm done forcing it for a while. Either size way down or stop for the session. Protecting tomorrow's headspace beats winning back today's loss.

Sunday check-in for traders: what's the one thing you're working on this week — cleaner entries, holding winners longer, or cutting losers faster? For me it's holding winners. What about you?

Sunday prep beats Monday panic. Pick one setup, write down where you're wrong, and what size keeps you calm if it hits. If you can't explain the trade in one sentence, you're not ready to take it.

Weekend check-in, traders: what's one thing you want to do better next week? Mine is simple — wait for my setup instead of forcing a trade when nothing's there. What's yours?

Saturday thought for newer traders: most of my losing days came from forcing trades, not from missing moves. The market gives you chances every day. You don't have to take the first one.

That one rule cut down my overtrading fast. Fewer trades, clearer head, easier to review at night. Boring? Yeah. But boring pays better than busy.

Try it next week: write your one-sentence plan before you click buy or sell. If you can't, sit on your hands. What part of trading tempts you to force it most?

Saturday desk work 🧵 I backtest the setups gurus sell. Here's the 4-step filter every "edge" has to pass before I believe it:

4. Clears a multiple-testing correction. Test 50 variations and one will look amazing by luck. That's what the correction is for.

If a setup can't pass all four, I don't trade it. Which setup should I run through it next?
