In an interview with Stephen Igoe today, East Carolina athletic Director Jon Gilbert said his stance on playing schools from out west has changed since canceling the series with Boise State several years back when he first arrived at ECU. He now is open to playing those schools with it becoming increasingly more difficult to schedule power 4 opponents home and home. Gilbert said he and the Boise State athletic director are currently trying to figure out dates to reschedule the series. He also said he is very close friends with Fresno State’s athletic Director and that series could easily be scheduled if we decided to do so. So pirate nation, would you be in favor of seeing home and home series with Boise State and Fresno State both now in the Pac 12?
