Age of Steam: Bangladesh

Happy Fourth of July weekend. Matt and I started our 4 day holiday weekend yesterday with Liberty or Death, and you should know Matt rewrote history; the Indians won. – at Arlington, MA

Did a bike ride after work today! It was in the 90s and HUMID, but the ride downhill home made it worth it. I pushed myself despite some injuries I’m dealing with and it felt so rewarding. – at Arlington, MA

Had a lovely bike ride today. 5.78 miles. I want to go further and faster, but I found some nice flat ground after an initial hill. Really looking forward to a beach bike ride this weekend. – at Los Angeles, CA

After playing boardgames non stop for half the year, I’m out here on a bike trying to lose these extra pounds 2020 gave me.

Hot Take: I think it’s okay to play heavy complicated 18xx games for your first 18xx game, if you want. As long as you know what you’re signing up for. 1817 was my 2nd 18xx game I played, & I LOVE it! Now #18xx is addicting, so there’s always a disclaimer: (pic by @teoismatt) – at Los Angeles, CA

Over 2,600 users have logged at least one game on 18xx.games. We're nearing 10,000 games of #18xx! It's been really exciting working with such a great community of talented contributors to spread the joys of 18xx. @jen_freeman (not allowing to tag you in photos!)
