Last year, the best script I ever wrote placed in just one contest and only got a 3 on the Black List. Now, it's going to be a movie distributed by A24 and co-directed by Christopher Nolan and Martin Scorsese. On a budget of $180 million. Never give up on your dreams, guys

ME AS A KID: I wanna be a doctor and a scientist and an engineer and a lawyer and an astronaut ME AS AN ADULT AFTER WRITING SCRIPTS ABOUT THOSE JOBS: Wow. I just realized why I'm a screenwriter and not a doctor or a scientist or an engineer or a lawyer or an astronaut

DIGGER is about a rich, arrogant, overweight guy whose actions set events in motion that may lead to the destruction of the world. And for the life of me I can't understand why people aren't in the mood to see that right now

The owner of this site blocked paid ads on the site for the new documentary about him by an Oscar-winning director (trailer below). If you're upset about what this site has become, please see the doc so you can piss him off. In NYC/LA theaters Oct 9th (everywhere else Oct 16th)

Just started watching SPIDER-NOIR starring the great Nicholas Cage. A fun, stylish superhero show set in an alternate Spider-Man universe, with a film noir twist. And it just won 5 Emmy Awards! I wish I’d checked it out before it got canceled, but that's life. Highly recommend.

OFFICE SPACE, BARRY, GET OUT, and now WIDOW'S BAY. Stephen Root has been quietly stealing scenes for decades, so it's great to see him win an Emmy! #Emmys

Two of the best movies of the year were films by directors in their 20s who honed their chops online. Films that I liked more than some by directors with decades of experience. If that doesn’t tell you about the need for Hollywood to seek fresh blood, I don’t know what will
