Text messages with a machine, in and of themselves, are not criminal, immoral, or dangerous, for there is no victim, whatever the content. It is the very same thing as with thoughts—regardless of the content, no thought can be said to create a victim.
• If someone steals info and feeds it into an LLM, it was the theft itself which created the victim, not the subsequent text message.
• If someone uses the output of an LLM to hack a system, it is that subsequent hack which creates the victim, not the text message preceding it.
• If someone threatens harm to themselves or others through messages into a machine, here still the messages themselves cannot be said to have created any victim.
Imagining otherwise inappropriately reorients blame from its rightful place: the action of harm actually done by a perpetrator. Thinking harm =/= harm.
As humans integrate AI as an extension of their mind, policing at the message layer means to increasingly police thought itself.
Which company, which committee, do you trust to police your thoughts? Or do you simply want the thoughts of others policed, and not your own?
We’ve trained Claude to flag potential misuse in conversations, a technique we call self-assessment. Right after it responds, Claude gives a preliminary safety assessment of the conversation.
Since we began using self-assessment in June, it has surfaced misuse that our other safeguards weren’t designed to catch.
Because Claude has already read the conversation, self-assessment is very efficient. And unlike classifiers, which target a discrete set of harms, it draws on Claude’s own judgment, so it gets more accurate as our models improve.

Saying there’s no reason to buy Bitcoin because anyone can create a cryptocurrency is like saying there’s no reason to learn English because anyone can invent a language.

🚨 Pentagon Just Admitted Bitcoin is a U.S. Military Power-Projection Weapon Against China
In a House Armed Services Committee hearing, Rep. Lance Gooden pressed Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth on whether Bitcoin can serve as a strategic tool for national power.
Hegseth’s reply was blunt: “Yes and yes.”
He confirmed Bitcoin provides real strategic leverage over China and other adversaries… and revealed the Pentagon is already running classified initiatives both to enable and to counter the technology.
It lines up with earlier military experiments testing Bitcoin nodes for hardened, censorship-resistant communications and cybersecurity, plus the 2025 executive order that created a U.S. Strategic Bitcoin Reserve.
Interestingly, CIA Casually admitted that Bitcoin Is Used As A Surveillance Tool: “Bitcoin isn’t truly anonymous… it’s a TOOL we use for intel gathering.”
🚨 The 1929 Great Depression Was Engineered by the Fed and They’re Doing It Again But Way Bigger
Milton Friedman exposed how the Federal Reserve helped turn a crash into an economic catastrophe.
Now look at what’s unfolding nearly a century later:
U.S. Treasury yields breaking records, oil spiking, Governments deliberately testing cyberattacks on banking system and The GENIUS Act is laying the groundwork for a stablecoin-powered financial system.
G7 countries announced that they are now preparing for a major AI cyberattack on the banking system.
Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, JPMorgan, and Wells Fargo detected unauthorized AI agents accessing customer accounts and attempting to act without user instructions.
These aren’t isolated risks, but the ingredients of a manufactured financial collapse?
Crash the old system. Destroy public confidence. Introduce blockchain-based financial infrastructure as the rescue.
A crisis becomes the justification for a financial reset.
The internet and the banking system will be shut off for the transition to the new stablecoin economy.
A new surveillance system is being opened without naming it CBDCs.
This is why @DNAOnChain is about to be the biggest company in the new on-chain financial system.
Private digital identities. Zero-knowledge proofs. A financial system where you can prove who you are without exposing who you are.
A future of complete on-chain financial privacy and almost nobody is paying attention.
Be prepared for the new financial system. It’s always followed by an engineered crisis.

Want to have your mind blown?
In 1971, the median household income was $9,030, or 220 ounces of gold.
In 2025, it was $87,460, or just 25 ounces of gold.
Your paycheck went up 10x.
Measured in gold, it fell 88%.
To earn what the median household earned in 1971, you’d need about $890,000 per year today.
That’s what fiat debasement looks like.

People buy houses as hard asset investments if they have poor alternatives.
If gold and BTC are allowed to rise to reflect USD debasement, the attractiveness of single-family homes as debasement hedges declines.
Higher gold & BTC is very socially useful in that way.

A good definition of a slave is someone whose tax rate is 100%.
All the fruits of their labor, all of them, 100%, go to a tax authority, the slave master.
On the other side of that spectrum, someone with a 0% tax rate would be someone that’s fully self-owned, someone that’s fully sovereign. They keep all the fruits of their labor and they trade them freely with other self-owned people. That’s the opposite of a slave. You could call that a sovereign.
We don’t have many of those people in the world today. They’re mostly what we refer to as sovereign nations.
Most of us normal people just have some effective tax rate that we pay across all the activities in our life. Buying, investing, consuming, dying, everything gets taxed at every transaction in the modern world.
So if you do all that math and figure out your effective tax rate, let’s say it’s 30%, my argument would be that you now know what percentage of a slave you are. You’re 30% slave and 70% sovereign, or free man.
I’ve said it this way in the past and it triggers a lot of people, but I think it’s hard to argue with.
We’ve come a long way. Today, something like slavery rubs all of our moral intuitions wrong, and most normal people would consider it abhorrent.
Slavery still exists, less so in the whips and chains of traditional chattel slavery and more so in the less visible version called taxation, inflation, and statism.
The Bitcoin mission and the Bitcoin thesis is all about creating a world with more sovereigns and ideally no slaves at all.
Ideally, we want to get to a world where inflation is at zero, the central bank has been eliminated, and the market for money, the biggest and most important market in the world, is free.
People are free to choose whatever money suits them best, interest rates are discovered freely in the marketplace, and slavery is finally reduced to 0% worldwide.
That’s what we call the big bright orange future.

Given the frequency of bans, I have to think @YouTube engages in systematic persecution of bitcoin related channels.
You really ought to review your procedures around this @TeamYouTube. It shouldn't be a rite of passage for bitcoin themed content creators to contest bans.
YouTube has banned The Bitcoin Conference channel.
All our channel does is post keynotes and panels from the largest Bitcoin conference in the world, bringing Bitcoin education to the masses.
Please reinstate our channel.

It is insane that home values go up over time.
The home should be most expensive when it is initially built. At that point, the structure is new and unused.
As the home experiences wear and tear, the home becomes used and should be worth less money over time.
A used home should cost less than a new home.
But that is not what happens.
Home prices continue to grow to the sky because the debasement of the dollar distorts the market, which enriches the home owners at the expense of the home buyer.
This is a silent wealth transfer that requires the home buyer to pay more for a less valuable product.
Just insane.

Inflation is RED hot in the US.
For anyone not keeping track, US CPI inflation is now nearly double the Fed's 2% target and US PPI Inflation is more than triple that target.
PPI inflation was expected to fall in August, but instead it surged to 6.3%, its second highest level in 4 years.
And, month-over-month Headline PPI inflation surged +1.3%, more than doubling the +0.6% expected and the second largest jump since March 2021.
Meanwhile, month-over-month Core PPI inflation came in +133% above expectations.
The prices Americans are seeing now will look cheap in 12 to 24 months.
All you can do is own assets.

My point of view is simple.
To the degree that self custody is likely always going to be complex, difficult and require a significant knowledge base we should be open and honest about that.
What we shouldn’t be doing is going around screeching about our dice rolls, our clear case or our favorite collaborative custody provider being the perfect solution to xyz self custody attack vector.
There are trade offs for every custody solution.
It’s best we reset the culture a bit by discussing them openly and honestly without coloring them with ideology.
If everyone is having too much fun screeching about their thing being the best though than please be my guest…

I understand that the social security conversation is political poison. But I’m not running for office so I don’t care about that. Taking huge chunks out of the paychecks of young working Americans in order to pay for the retirements of older Americans who have a net worth several times higher, all to prop up a system that everyone knows likely won’t be there when those younger people are retirement age themselves, is morally abhorrent and economically insane. Everyone knows it, too, but we’re held hostage by elderly politicians who refuse to surrender power, and older voters who, as a group (with exceptions, obviously), simply don’t care all that much about the financial and cultural future their grandchildren will inherit.
Little known fact:
BTC has NEVER been beaten by stocks over a 4 year investment duration. Even if you bought the top.
In fact, at 42% CAGR, BTC beats the undisputed champion of hedge funds, Renaissance Technologies, who delivered 39% to their investors.

The 5-year Treasury yield is over 5%. The 2-year will soon follow. Next year the entire yield curve will have a 5% handle or higher. At 5% the annual interest cost of our $40 trillion national debt will be $2 trillion, 35% of tax revenue and a larger expense than Social Security.

Good morning.
If you are selling hard assets like gold and bitcoin as yields rise and bond auctions become disorderly, you are not paying attention to the underlying problem and inevitable currency debasement coming.
Have a great day.
