Companion came out 18 days ago. The shrinking gap between movies playing in theaters to being available at home is gonna be what ends up killing theaters. For big studio movies like this it should be a minimum of 90 days.

With it being Halloween Eve and all, I thought I’d share this letterboxd list I made with some of my favorite Halloween-centric films to throw on and feel the festivities!
Finally watched The Mist. Gee, I wonder who Mike Flanagan is gonna cast as Mrs. Carmody in his adaptation.
Let’s also not forget that Psycho and Peeping Tom were some of the first American horror films to make a psychotically deranged human the antagonist, I always credit them and Texas Chainsaw Massacre as the first slasher films.

Still reeling from The Devils, wow. Blasphemous, provocative and a sight to behold! I couldn’t take my eyes off the screen and feel like I’m going to hell for watching it.
Glad to see it get a second week in theaters. If you’re into intense nunsploitation 70s cinema, go see it!
