I’m actually quite optimistic on the future of Jewish statehood and independence.
We’ve got smart, organized, very determined and cohesive people, and they have an amorphous disorganized angry mob, most of whom are miserable and hate their own lives.
Because it’s more attractive to be confident and exciting than it is to be kind and caring.
BUT if you’re confident and exciting *AND* kind and caring, then you’re husband material.
It’s much easier for a sensitive young man to learn to be a “bad boy” every now and then than it is for a toxic and abusive man to learn to be a gentleman.
You can learn to be the best of both worlds, he really can’t. Which means you have an advantage if you choose to develop and employ it.
I remarked the other day that most media depictions of modern air combat suck, and several people replied that beyond visual range engagements aren’t very dramatic.
I beg to differ. A BVR engagement is extremely intense because you’re GOING to get shot at.
In a dogfight you might get shot at or you might not, in a BVR fight there is going to be a missile coming straight at your fucking face. The question becomes what maneuvers you take that support your own missile while defeating his.
For instance observe this double MiG 29 kill in which I VERY narrowly avoid being hit
For people who’ve only paid attention to Israeli politics since 2023 it’s going to be so weird if Netanyahu is replaced with a brown dude who barely speaks English

They’re about as far from hypergamous as it gets
Violating Syrian airspace used to actually MEAN something.
You used to have to show up with a whole strike package. Fighter cover, SEAD, EW, standoff weapons, the whole shabang, and even the wounded animal that was Syrian AD in the late 2010s could still bite.
But now it’s just lame as shit. Anyone can do it. You could bomb Syria in a blimp. It’s not fun at all anymore.

Nah Jewish foidot are slightly less hypergamous than their goyische counterparts but it’s still a thing unfortunately

You wouldn’t use F-35 for something like this. Probably a drone
Indeed. Using information warfare as a substitute for the air defense they don’t have.
Every Muslim has seen terrible images for many years of other Muslims who’ve been killed or injured by air power, generally at the hands of Israel, the US, or Syria.
As such, it seems to me from an outside perspective that many Muslims have an instinctive aversion to the use of air power in a counterterrorism role, even when it’s done by their own countries Air Force to protect them from terrorists.
And the terrorists know this, and can thus exploit this to their own propaganda, meanwhile they *purposely* target civilians themselves. For these terrorists civilians are not the collateral damage, but rather the intended target.
I honestly suspect this might be part of the reason that Pakistan is reluctant to deploy its air power in a sustained air campaign against the Taliban.

It’s a standard tactic in the Islamist terrorist playbook now (incl. Afghan Taliban). Deny militant casualties -> Exaggerate civilian collateral damage.
