@sgruber91 has no argument for “substantially equivalent” protection. Or the sin of pro-life incrementalism.

This is almost a direct quote from your father-in-law from your brother-in-law. "Doesn't appear to be a good faith actor" is that the kind of dissociation you need to do to sin against your family? You're a good attack dog, Jason. You've proven your loyalty.

When I consider how much of a blessing the printing press was, and how incredible of a blessing having the Scriptures in my own native language is, I find myself just sitting there thinking about it, and honestly getting pretty emotional. Thank you, Jesus. Happy Reformation Day.

@sgruber91 @sgruber91 abolitionist groups frequently repost other state bills for free to help get the word out about efforts to criminalize abortion. @AIMKS_2411 emailed you to see if you'd be willing to promote an abolition bill (in your state) based on its own merits. It was not a request to promote AIMKS as an organization. We now recognize that's not how you operate and that you expect something much more formal to take place before you offer help to promote bills that criminalize abortion. Your difference in giving aid is your perogative and can be respected, but because you've turned this into a character assassination against AIMKS leadership, please do not be surprised when others no longer desire to reach out to "collaborate" with you. If you repent of your uncharitable words against Kansas abolitionists in this situation, then that will change.

Would it matter to you, if Kansas just wanted them to believe it was a bill that was obedient and righteous. And due to that would be unconcerned about how many people stood with them. 1/2
Seth, this was major deciding factor for me in where I wanted to put my efforts. When I watched you and Jason discuss (in one of the two videos at the end of my shared comment below) about how you moved to Kansas and no one from the abolitionist camp invited you to talk about your positions or even just get to know them, but rather came right out blasting you as an enemy to the cause and that you needed to be defeated, then they wouldn’t respond to your requests to them to do those things, that was so emblematic of all the troubling behavior I’d witnessed up to that point from those with 🪓 in bios.

Abolitionists have never been about political alliances. We’ve always been about obedience. As we have sought that, and that alone, people have followed in our wake. Regardless of how many people stand with us, political organizations have been forced to follow us anyway 2/2

A voting bloc without minimum standards is a voting bloc without power. Evangelical Christians have consistently failed to understand this.

“Do you think that I have come to give peace on earth? No, I tell you, but rather division. 52 For from now on in one house there will be five divided, three against two and two against three…..” 1/2
"The first one to plead his cause seems right, Until his neighbor comes and examines him." Prov. 18:17 "I say this to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you, not even one, who will be able to judge between his brethren?  But brother goes to law against brother, and that before unbelievers! ... Why do you not rather accept wrong? Why do you not rather let yourselves be cheated? No, you yourselves do wrong and cheat, and you do these things to your brethren!" I Cor. 6

The most consistent and truly understanding walkthrough of the “harshness” and “critical” discussion.
You assume quite a lot in here. First of all, there's one of our staff members that's pretty involved with the Discord and probably least involved with various X bouts. Seth gets mentioned very little by us in there. I (Sam) can think of only one example, and it was when Seth kept claiming that abortion had been banned in 16 states. I responded to a direct question about him there but also criticized the post publicly here. We're not some monolithic group. We don't control what actions and words abolitionists do and say. We do have a specific view, and there are a few common figure heads that espouse the opposite of that view (thinking Doug Wilson, Seth, or Kristan Hawkins at a much further end of the spectrum). I wouldn't say everything every abolitionist says nor would every abolitionist endorse everything we say. But there is a consistency to the view and the logic that people pick up on and they do point out when others are not being consistent. You can take that a few ways, personally, or you can deal with it. Sometimes those comments can be overly harsh, but surely Seth has no valid complaint against that 😉 It's funny Russell gets dragged so consistently on this stuff because he is by far the least involved person online. I know it's convenient to pin every ill worded comment or overly harsh criticism on us as some "cult leaders" but it's hardly fair and definitely not honest. If we have said something specifically that is wrong, okay. Let's debate it. But if it's some conspiracy about us going after people by sicking a mob on them from Discord, that just isn't true. There is a signal group we also run, and I'd say a do quite a lot of disagreeing in there with things abolitionists have said, sometimes harshly, not that Seth would give me the benefit of the doubt on that. I'm also not perfect and it's possible I've gotten some things wrong. There certainly can be a fog of war when you're dealing with some particularly nasty accusations, but that isn't an excuse for it if I was wrong. So, all this to say, if you do actually want to talk I'd be happy to. We don't even need to discuss any personalities. We can just discuss the disagreement.

You're saying two different things here, Seth. Yes, we believe incrementalism is sinful. No, we do not believe that holding a sinful view or taking a sinful action means you are a reprobate of an unbeliever. That would be a works based righteousness which we do not believe.

Seems pretty straightforward. Trump has betrayed the preborn and has blocked even the Comstock Act from being enforced, already leading to the death of hundreds of thousands of babies. There is no politician more responsible than Trump. And yet your organization says such politicians must have electoral consequences? Which politicians? If not the ones who have betrayed the preborn the most, is this just an empty threat?

One of the worst things about “incrementalists” is that they say that they want the same end goal, but you hardly ever see them supporting abolition/equal justice bills once they are proposed.

Jason, there seems to be a sense of false unity or at the very least a useful unity. I’m not sure there is substantial agreement between Abolitionists like Bradley and Jeff with Smashmouth folks like yourself and Seth/WRR. The very narrow agreement appears to be where the ultimate end goal lies — Abolition of abortion through equal protection of the laws. We all want the abolition of abortion through equal protection of the laws, but how do we get there? The Abolitionists walk into the legislators' offices and we say, “Do what God says. Period.” The Smashmouth incrementalist goes into the legislators' offices and says, “You should do what God says, but you don't have to. It's okay to do something less than what He said. In fact, it's okay to do something that He explicitly says not to do. That's okay too and we're behind you whatever you decide — whatever you can get done this session. That's why the Smashmouth incrementalist, as much as we love our brothers, but y’all undermine. That position undermines what the Abolitionist calls for and, more importantly, undermines what God demands.

Sure. Leviticus 20:4-5a “f the people of the land do at all close their eyes to that man when he gives one of his children to Molech, and do not put him to death, 5 then I will set my face against that man” If they’re seeking change “by degrees” they’re not seeking the “end” 1/2

This is all by definition and with clear reading of clear scripture (prescription, not description). If they’re seeking the “end” (prosecution of all parties) then they’re by definition seeking to put them to death in this modern issue. Oh, also Gen 9:6, pro 24:12, etc. 2/2
