I am so excited, humbled and blessed to live out my childhood dream by joining a first-class organization. I love the NBA and I cannot wait to be part of the Spurs family! Let’s get to work, San Antonio! 🙏🏀🎙️📺
Welcome to the Spurs Family, Jacob!
The San Antonio Spurs announced their hiring of @JacobRTobey as the new TV play-by-play announcer. Tobey will join veteran commentator Sean Elliott in the broadcast booth for Spurs games and make his debut when the preseason tips off.

Indigenous People’s Day 😤
For tonight’s broadcast, I’ll be wearing this dear tooth necklace which was beaded (by hand) by my Wampanoag cousin. I bought it at our powwow this summer.

realizing now with DAZN, I can actually be at the games all season as a Baseline Bum AND still listen to/watch @JacobRTobey and @seanelliott_32 through the app...🙊 (very happy to have these two back on our screens for away games!)
So happy for @OnAirKarl! And his father probably went to the Saxon Pub last night so he could listen @JMcDonald_SAEN 😂
For the first time in 100-plus games, there will be a Schoening on the Spurs radio mic tonight.
Bill's son @OnAirKarl gets the call with @DanWeissPBP back in San Antonio on some (good) family business.
I assume @SpursRadio is either listening at home or on stage at Saxon Pub.

A reminder, our @spurs broadcasts are now on @DAZN! Starting tonight vs the Hawks, you can stream every preseason game for free! @seanelliott_32 and I are excited to be back tonight 🏀

Tennessee Whiskey is my go to karaoke song @SpursGDP
Encore performance by Carter Bryant with Let Me Love You by Mario!!! 2nd year in a row it’s a hit. Great job by Luke and Keldon hopping in for a sec 🤣
Winner of the @spurs rookie karaoke show (in my opinion) goes to 2nd round pick Ja'Kobi Gillespie: singing With You by Chris Brown! He got people to light up the arena with their phones! 🎶🎤
