lots of new faces here this month (welcome 🙌)

2016: wrote a how-to book and gave the whole playbook away. business grew 10x
2020: Inc. 5000 #159. 2,439% three-year growth
- started a second agency to compete with my first one. the Pepsi to my Coke
2021: #15 fastest-growing company in the Southeast (Inc.)
2023: Twitter became X. we’d been X Social Media since 2015. so I sued X Corp over our trademark

2026 so far: started building with Claude in February. couldn’t write a line of code
shipped 200+ project, agents and tools on Cloudflare
still running the agency's. building is just how I run it now. Father of five. 8 horses and a donkey in the barn
and my brain is full (in the best way)
God’s been good 🙏
took me 16 years in marketing to learn how to build
Ship on a Friday, or wait until Monday so you can fix anything that breaks? I ship Friday. How do you decide?
1000x more builders is coming.
When everyone can build, the code stops being the edge.
The edge is who picks up the phone, who shows up every day, and who the customer already trusts.
Build, sell, show up. Only one of those got easier.
Build Log Wednesday 🔧
An ad helper for my biggest Meta campaigns. It's just for me, and it tells me when and how fast to scale.
The rule: it copies my own routine. Pause the worst ads, add new creative, check every ad matches the person it's meant for.
Step 1 → Watch the numbers
Step 2 → Look at ad sets, not just campaigns
Step 3 → Tell me when and how fast to scale
Step 4 → Make new images of the winning ads
Step 5 → Explain what's working and why
The AI watches and explains. I make the call.
I've run Facebook ads since 2015.
Most builders I meet have never run one.
So I wrote down the 5 things it took me 10 years to learn. Takes 3 minutes.
What's stopping you from running your first ad?

Is a side project a distraction or the fastest way to learn? I think it's the fastest way to learn. When I am building I am learning. Agree?
Best building hours: early morning or late at night? Mine has always been early morning 6am-9am is when most of my tools are done. What's yours?

Pick one niche and own it, or take any customer who pays? I think a narrow niche wins. How do you decide?
What's stuck for you this week?
Mine was inboxes. Every agent I build needs its own, so I built a private email service for them. Anything an agent wants to send waits for my approval first.
Reply with what you shipped or where you're stuck. I'll read every reply.
Monday Mission 🎯
What are you shipping this week?
Mine: getting the agent that drafts my posts ready for other builders to try. Testing interest first.
Drop it below. I read every reply.
Ran Facebook ads for 600+ law firms since 2015.
