In the airport with a hair covering on and the security lady quizzes me on my religion and insists on searching my hair. This is consistently my least favourite part of travelling.
more aggressive and I’ve been unsure about my safety despite being surrounded by people. Please if you feel safe speak up when you see harassment or at least invite the harassed person to your group as this is often enough to stop it happening. It’s a scary time to be a woman.
In the past two days I’ve been verbally harassed and followed multiple times by older men when making my way home. Every time it’s happened I’ve been minding my business and having a conversation with a friend or family member and it’s led to the man getting progressively 1/2
