🚨 EMERGENCY COMMISSIONS 🚨 After some recent personal developments, I’m in a bit of a bind financially. Not that much of an artist but I hope someone somewhere will have some use for what I can provide! Prices are negotiable if you really can’t afford it, anything helps!

most lukewarm take but seasonal anime and fans insistence on having no adaptational changes has done incredible damage to the medium as a whole

A soft teal and cream illustration of Emilia looking down at Subaru Natsuki, who rests with his eyes closed and his head in her lap. Her hand rests gently on his shoulder in a comforting gesture. Warm light falls across their clothes and her long silver hair. Signed Sparix in the upper right.

It’s funny that Re:Zero does the exact opposite of this with Theresia being the “chosen one” in question who challenges tradition while her brothers are the ones tied to orthodoxy lol

i do think really the insidious idea this trope puts into people's minds is tying women to the orthodoxy of a discipline and positioning the male protagonist as the necessary challenge to tradition when it's often the other way around in real life

The lore is that she drew a lil Regulus on a post-it note at my house years ago when we were in undergrad college, and I ended up keeping it while she kept telling me to throw it away because she thought it was a bad doodle. So she decided to give me a better one she was proud of
