it blows my mind how big part of the economy is: - "there was no software for this part so we patched it with more people" - "our customer doesn't know what to do because our software is bad so we patched it by hiring more people" it's probably like 10-40% of white collar?

Administration bloats healthcare because its cheaper to replace doctor with administrators. Its also why nurses even exist in the first place. It was cheaper to replace doctors with nurses using 1896 licensure act meanwhile doctors got licensed in 1750 BC by hammurabi.

The robot only needs to be cheaper than the marginal cost of employing scarce specialist labor + facilities + opportunity cost, while delivering comparable outcomes. Your procedure need to be too cheap to be replaceable by expensive robot but also highly judgemental
