New food options in the Halo sound decent but the AI posters and AI generated photos of the food itself are so tacky and unappealing @MorecambeFC @Shrimps_SLO

Just what will history judge?
Was beloved author Sally Rooney really a dangerous supporter of terrorism?
Was the banning of her books under anti-terror legislation a sign of sanity?
Or will it be those who cheered on the erasure of Gaza judged as monsters?
It’s a tough one!
Sally Rooney's books can no longer be sold in Britain due to her support for Palestine Action.
She refused to withdraw her support for the direct action group which targeted the Israeli arms industry, costing her the royalties from all of her UK sales.

More proof of the complete absurdity of the proscription of Palestine Action.
What a stain on this government that people in this country are unable to buy and enjoy the work of one of this generation’s greatest writing talents.
De-proscribe Palestine Action now.

When you’re asking foreign royals who don’t know you exist to increase your cost of living, it’s probably worth contemplating whether at some stage your football fandom might have caused your brain to fall out.
Raise the price of petrol and diesel, @MansourBinZayed.
Let’s see what decision they come to after that.

I resigned from Anthropic today. I spent the last three years doing pretraining research at both OpenAI and Anthropic. Neither company is acting responsibly. They are racing straight to self-improving superintelligence and gambling with our lives. More thoughts below.

our ancestors would have brought out the guillotine by now and i don’t think that’s an over exaggeration. the people with enough money to rule the world do not care about us. we mustn’t care about them. revolutions have always started over the price of bread.
🚨 No more sugarcoating. The UN just confirmed the 1.5°C climate limit is effectively dead. We will breach it within years, not decades. We are officially entering a dangerous "overshoot" era. Current policies track us to a lethal 2.6°C.
What does crossing 1.5°C actually mean? It means a massive surge in compounding weather disasters. We aren't just talking about hotter days, as we are looking at abrupt, unpredictable severe droughts, collapsing ice sheets, and extreme floods happening all at once.
It gets worse. Rising sea levels will trigger permanent coastal submersion, threatening to completely swallow island nations. Simultaneously, brutal severe droughts will collapse global crop yields, causing skyrocketing food prices and widespread shortages.
We are completely unprepared.
Westside Cowboy album ‘It Goes On’ is, as expected, absolutely incredible.
No misses whatsoever. Coyote in particular blew me away, some song.

1 year of Panjab's ownership, 1 year of incompetence, failure, and deception.
This cannot continue: Ropinder Singh and Steve Dewsnip must go.

Aldershot, Altrincham, Fylde and Hornchurch have all had their embargoes lifted.
The only others left to not have theirs lifted are Halifax (who our manager left) and Ebbsfleet (whose first games have been postponed due to financial issues).
We haven’t even acknowledged ours.
🚨 NEW: Morecambe are among seven clubs within the @NL_Enterprise leagues to be under embargo for “Non-compliance with League Financial Regulations.”
