It just blows my mind that beyond the bad stuff they did:
Edmonton felt like they NEEDED Bowman after his final 5 years in Chicago were a fucking disaster.
They NEEDED Babcock after his 2010-2019 years were pretty buns playoff wise.
They NEEDED Formenton after 3 half a PPG szns in Switzerland.
I’m not justifying a Carter Hart signing, but at least the dude was a good hockey player prior to signing. Edmonton just doing it for the love of the game (the game being having no morals and getting negative PR).

PlayStation thought the game was called physical and had to back out
As confirmed earlier through our official channels, in mid-June of this year, we unexpectedly received notice from PlayStation Studios that they would cancel the PHYSINT project. PHYSINT is an important project both to me personally and to KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS. Determined to keep the project alive, we have spent the last three months searching tirelessly for a new partner. In the course of seeking advice and pursuing negotiations with people across many fields, we found in XBOX a partner with whom we share a common vision for the future, and we have decided to team up with them once again. Please rest assured that development of PHYSINT, our genre-defining action-espionage title, is ongoing and will continue moving forward.

I have decided to respectfully refrain from posting win memes out of an abundance of caution for the well-being of the Ottawa Redblacks and their fans. Please know I am excited about the Lions win but extend the deepest of sympathy for all those who experienced another loss.

I never thought I’d see the day that people would be wringing their hands over the B.C. Lions lol.
It’s sports. The stakes are so low here lol, the decorum and low class speeches feel so bizarre to me. Just wait for the lions to lose then toss this in their face. Cycle of life.

Peter Maher became a mainstay in Calgary, as the Voice of the Flames, in the 2nd year of the franchise. This followed a stint in Toronto, as The Maple Leafs’ radio voice.
Shocked to hear of his passing today. He was as much a part of the Flames, as any coach or any player.
A former recipient of the Foster Hewitt Award, Peter’s famous “Yeah Baby” became his calling card with every Flames’ victory.
Born a Maritimer, Died an Albertan.
Canadian through and through.
One more “Yeah Baby” for Peter.

For #Canucks fans who miss Drance on the airwaves, here's a message he left on Reddit a few days ago.
Encouraging to hear that we should have at least one podcast to tune in to in the fall.

Morocco just too solid for Canada, especially without Kone and Davies fit.
Legitimately hanging with a top-10 side - and they did, scoreline aside - in the round of 16 is enormous progress for the men’s team.
Tremendous showing for Canada, as a side + a host. What a ride. Oh 🇨🇦
