Next time a stranger at a bar asks if you're a patriot, do not say yes. Chase Hughes walks through a hypothetical recruitment, and it starts with someone telling you he loves your podcast and then asking whether you'd consider yourself a patriot. That first yes is what he builds everything else on - your identity. Next he asks if you'd be willing to look at something that might be uncomfortable. Then he shows you your browsing history and webcam captures from your phones and computers, offers to keep it all out of the public eye, and puts $20,000 a month on the table. All you have to do is keep a few people off the show and leave a few things out, for your country. What gets me is that the protection covers more than your reputation. It also hands you a story you can live with, where every concession counts as service. "They don't build influencers. They find the ones who are already successful and recruit them." Apparently the benefits package includes getting to keep calling yourself independent. So be honest, has anybody here ever been approached with an indecent proposal?

On August 9, 1945, a man wrapped in bandages told his boss that a single bomb had wiped out Hiroshima. His boss said he'd gone mad. Then the window filled with white light. Tsutomu Yamaguchi was a 29-year-old Mitsubishi ship designer from Nagasaki, sent to Hiroshima for a three-month job. On August 6, his last day, he realized he'd forgotten his hanko, the name stamp he needed to sign out, and went back for it alone. Walking past potato fields, he looked up and saw a B-29 drop two small parachutes. "It was like a flash of magnesium," he said, "and I was blown over." The bomb exploded about 3 kilometers away. His eardrums burst, and his face and arms were burned. He crossed the burning city with two surviving colleagues, spent the night in a shelter, and caught a train home to Nagasaki. On August 9, still bandaged, he went back to work and told his director what one bomb had done. "A single bomb can't destroy a whole city," the director said. "I think you've gone a little mad." At 11:02 a.m., the flash came again, about 3 kilometers away once more. He survived that too. For years he barely spoke about it. In 2009, Japan officially recognized him as a survivor of both bombings, the only person ever given that status. He spent his last years speaking against nuclear weapons. "The reason that I hate the atomic bomb," he said, "is because of what it does to the dignity of human beings." He died in 2010, at 93. Some call him the unluckiest man in history. He spent his life making sure nobody forgot what he saw. Disclaimer: Distances are approximate. The forgotten stamp, the scenes and the quotes come from his own accounts, mainly a 2005 interview with The Times. At least 160 people, including his two colleagues, are believed to have survived both bombs, but he is the only one officially recognized. 🌞☕ GOOD MORNING, EVERYONE! ☕🌞❤️🙏 Good morning, friends! 🌅❤️ Another new day is here — another chance to wake up grateful and live with purpose. Let’s begin this morning leaning into the Lord and trusting His timing. ✝️💖 📖 Today’s Bible Verse — Matthew 4:17 (KJV) “From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” 🙏✨ Jesus didn’t wait for perfect conditions. He stepped forward and called people to turn their hearts toward Him because the kingdom of heaven was near. That same invitation is still open today. A new morning is a gentle reminder that we can realign, refocus, and walk more closely with Him. As you move through today, look for small ways to reflect His love — a kind word, a moment of patience, or a quiet prayer for someone else. 🌻🦋 Little things done with a willing heart can carry more weight than we realize. Sending morning love from our two Frenchies as well! Hank (our fawn boy) and Arlo (our golden-gray boy with his white chest streak) are already reminding us to slow down and enjoy the simple blessings right in front of us. 🐶🐾💕 May your coffee be strong ☕, your mind be clear, your heart be at peace, and your steps be guided by grace. 🌅❤️🙏 Have a blessed and beautiful morning, everyone. The kingdom of heaven is at hand — live today in light of that hope. 🙌✝️💖 #GoodMorning #Matthew417 #KingdomOfHeaven #FaithAndKindness #BlessedAndGrateful

James Talarico’s own words, compiled across years, show a consistent public theology and policy framework: gender identity is self-determined (even by children), biological sex is more fluid than binary, certain medical interventions for minors are non-negotiable, and opposition to these views is often framed as “Christofascism” or linked to “whiteness.” This raises concrete questions for voters evaluating candidates, not just slogans: 1. On minors and medical decision-making: When a candidate argues that “there’s only one person who can determine a child’s gender identity, and that’s the child,” and that denying it is “abusive,” what does that mean for parental rights, age of consent standards, and the evidence base around desistance rates or long-term outcomes of puberty blockers/cross-sex hormones? These are empirical and legal questions, not merely moral ones. 2. On religious language: Framing Jesus as a “prophetic voice” who helped “reckon with whiteness,” while labeling dissenting Christian views as Christofascism, imports a specific academic/activist lens. Traditional Christian anthropology (male and female created in the image of God) has been the majority reading for centuries across denominations. Voters can weigh whether this is a development or a rupture. 3. Policy consistency: Positions on guns, policing, and prisons sit alongside the gender claims. A candidate’s full record—not isolated clips—lets voters assess trade-offs on public safety, medical regulation, and parental authority. Compilations like this are useful precisely because they surface primary sources. The next step is testing the claims against data, law, and competing moral frameworks rather than treating any single worldview as self-evident. Texas voters can do that evaluation themselves.
Every word is James Talarico’s. 27 clips. 4 minutes. 2019–2026. “God is non-binary.” “…many more than two biological sexes. In fact, there are six.” “If you deny your child’s gender identity… it’s abusive for sure.” “There’s only one person who can determine a child’s gender identity, and that’s the child.” “I want to acknowledge that our trans community needs abortion care too.” “…the bill that would have denied gender-affirming health care to trans children… All these ideologies stem from this Christofascism movement.” “The way I fought for trans kids in the legislature is how I will fight for the U.S. Senate, and my position hasn’t changed.” “Prophetic voices like Jesus have helped me reckon with my own whiteness.” “It’s always rich to me that defund the police is considered off limits…” “Prison is violence.” “Tear down this secret police force.” Assault weapons ban? “Absolutely.” Send this to 10 Texas voters and tell them to vote today.

In July 1518, a woman stepped into a street in Strasbourg and began to dance. She didn't stop for days. There was no music and no celebration. Witnesses said the dancers took no joy in it at all. Within a week, dozens had joined her. Within about a month, one chronicler wrote, more than 400 people had been seized by the same urge. The doctors blamed "overheated blood" and prescribed more dancing. So the city built a stage and hired musicians to keep the dancers moving. It only spread. Some accounts say dancers collapsed and died. Finally the city banned music and sent the dancers to a shrine of St. Vitus, where they were given red shoes and led in prayer. Slowly, the dancing faded. Five centuries later, nobody knows why it happened. Hundreds of people danced until they dropped, and not one of them could say why. Disclaimer: Chronicles disagree on the numbers, and reported deaths aren't confirmed by city records. Possible causes include mass hysteria and ergot poisoning, and the cause is still debated.

Hey 👋 Michigan Never forget what llhan Omar did. The Truth Is In The Wine .🍷 She is corrupt and needs to go. The winery shut down in April 2026 amid scrutiny from House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer. There were earlier investor lawsuits alleging that Mynett and a partner misrepresented the business and failed to deliver promised returns on investments. ✅The big discrepancy in her reported wealth. ✅Accusations of fraud or misleading investors tied to the winery. ✅The irony of a Muslim congresswoman being linked to a wine business (alcohol is prohibited in Islam).

Folks, @PeteHegseth "The Crusades saved a Christian Europe from the onslaught of Islam. WE need an American Crusade." He describes the 11th century as a time when Christianity was “so besieged by Islam” that Europeans faced the choice of defensive war or “existential war at home in Europe.” He writes that without the Crusades “there would have been no Protestant Reformation or Renaissance. There would be no Europe and no America,” and says people who enjoy Western civilization should “thank a crusader.”

The headline for this said, "only in Texas"... But, this seems like it would be something we see here in Ohio. A retiree got his toy, and his wife wanted hers. Maybe should have got that F350 instead bud.
Someone is definitely very excited for wherever they are heading to. Either the dog park, or going to see a friend. ❤️

I guess this must of been before my time, but I don't remember Mr Potato head being made for real potatoes. I only remember it being the fake potato with holes already in it. Either way this was one of those "have to have" toys when I was younger.

The real Abdul Sayed finally emerges side by side with the fake media-made Abdul Sayed. Don’t let this radical enter our scared Senate halls. He’s a Trojan horse.
Radical Islamists like Hasan Piker, Abdul Sayed and Zohran Mamdani want to see American blood in the streets. They don’t like America don’t be hoodwinked or bamboozled.
