“You’re Islamophobic.”
“No, I’m not.”
“You’re a fan of Tommy Robinson.”
“No, I’m not.”
“You’re unfair on the Church of England.”
“No, I’m not.”
A pleasure to chat to @edvaizey on @TimesRadio about my new book, 'Never Again? How the West Betrayed the Jews and Itself', today.
Why national security adviser Jonathan Powell must resign now, explained in two minutes.
My interview with @JuliaHB1 today.
There's been some interest in the "Israel lobby" since Mehdi Hasan's little film today, and the graph I posted earlier. Here are a few more. Link to article in first reply!
Jonathan Powell must stand down.
Who is representing Britain abroad?
In November 2025 we discovered the National Security Advisor had travelled to Beijing to meet with Wang Yi, the Chinese Communist Party’s Foreign Minister.
No British Government record of this meeting was published.
Instead, the CCP informs us our National Security Advisor emphasized China’s role in the world and the Labour Government’s hopes of a deeper relationship.
No democratic mandate as an unelected special advisor. No transparency as only the Chinese side published a record of the meeting. No scrutiny as he refuses to appear in front of Parliamentary Committees.
Perhaps we should ask the National Security Advisor’s wife to tweet a record of what was discussed?

Rare Trump administration win.
The attempt to lower the genocide intent threshold, just to shaft Israel, ought to shatter the international legal system.
ICJ ad hoc "judge" Navi Pillay is tipping the scales on the ICJ’s current proceedings on Myanmar, intending to lower the legal threshold for proving genocide so that weakened and false standard can later be weaponized against American and allied soldiers whenever they raise a finger against terrorists that hide behind civilians. Pillay: We see your agenda and we'll be watching the ICJ’s handling of these proceedings very closely. As our actions against the ICC demonstrate, we will not allow globalist, faux-judges to weaponize the law against our troops, undermine our sovereignty, or put American lives at risk.
The Nobel Committee has disgraced itself by awarding the Peace Prize to Pillay. What a shameful choice to "honor" someone who represents an "international community" with a leftist, globalist, antisemitic agenda.
President Trump is showing a better way, by actually ENDING WARS, bringing hostages HOME, and making PEACE.
Steve Witkoff, Trump's special envoy, praised Vladimir Putin as a "humanitarian" in St Petersburg this week, as Russian troops butchered civilians in Kyiv and Kharkiv.
The flattery, of course, was grotesque. But the bigger scandal was what America's negotiators failed to say.
In occupied Oleshky, thousands of Ukrainians are trapped without food or medicine. Bodies lie unburied in the streets because the occupiers forbid burials.
The Pope has pleaded with Putin for mercy from his hospital bed. A vice-president of the European Parliament has gone on hunger strike.
What did Washington's envoys bring home? A thank-you note from the Kremlin to Melania.
As the world's biggest superpower, America has leverage. It's choosing to squander it on sordid and ineffective diesel deals and empty compliments.
History may forget Witkoff's name. It won't forget Oleshky.

I guess readers can make their own minds up, Mehdi. Propaganda only goes so far! And while we're promoting things, check out my exposure of the "Israel lobby" lie here: jakewallissimons.com
Thanks for promoting the film, Jake! It's so antisemitic that almost every interviewee in the film is Jewish and it is former AIPAC officials themselves in the film saying they think AIPAC coordinated with the Israeli government and acted as a foreign agent.
People can watch for themselves here:

As for spending, AIPAC's super PAC just spent $30 million in a single Senate race, a record even for AIPAC, so let's stop pretending that most other lobbies are coming anywhere close to AIPAC's spending ($100 million plus) in this 2026 election cycle.
Facts don't care about your (paranoid) feelings.

In our latest interview, @JakeWSimons explains where criticism of Israel ends and antisemitism begins, why “Israelophobia” is antisemitism’s latest form and the dangerous alliance between the far-left and Islamists.

Utterly devastating from @brett_mcgurk about the lawfare Israel has faced from the UN and related bodies
Irish government thinks grandparents hugging their grandchildren is an issue of “consent”. What’s wrong with these people
The state of this. Sarah Helm’s sympathies clearly lie with Hamas; Britain’s foreign policy now comprises activism against Israel at the expense of our national security. Put it together and what do you get?
Jonathan Powell must go.
Mehdi Hasan's Zeteo has a new documentary out on AIPAC, asking whether the "Israel lobby" is really an agent of a foreign power.
A shadowy, fabulously rich network pulling Washington's strings: it's one of the most enduring antisemitic tropes of our age. So I did Mehdi a favour and checked the numbers.
Over the past decade, Israel ranked tenth for registered foreign lobbying spending, behind China, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE and even the Marshall Islands. AIPAC came 191st among Washington's lobbies. The entire pro-Israel lobbying category spent less than gun-rights groups, and a fraction of what the drug companies spend.
Elections? AIPAC's super PAC spends serious money. But it competes in a system where outside groups have poured in nearly $2 billion this cycle, and six organisations have each spent over $60 million.
Strangely, Zeteo seems far less curious about Riyadh, Beijing or Doha.

Mehdi Hasan has found a new villain. Or rather, an old one. Zeteo, the Israelophobic media outfit he founded after MSNBC dropped his show, has spent the past two years training its fire on the Jewish state, and its latest offering goes straight for the jugular.
Night Flower: Inside Aipac’s Fight for Influence, which premiered in Chicago this week and is available globally, takes aim at the dreaded American Israel Public Affairs Committee (Aipac) and asks whether it is an agent of a foreign power. Cue anonymous insiders, disaffected former staffers and a cameo from Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
You don’t need to be a historian to recognise the shape of the story: a shadowy network, fabulously rich, pulling the strings of the world’s most powerful government on behalf of the Jews. Yup, the all-powerful “Israel lobby” is one of the most enduring antisemitic tropes of our age, the lightly sanitised heir to an old conspiracy theory.
The film’s principal revelations? An anonymous former staffer feels that Aipac sometimes seems to be “doing Israel’s bidding”, and Keith Weissman, a former employee, who admits passing information from a Pentagon source to the Israeli embassy two decades ago, an episode that led to espionage charges that were dropped in 2009. Aipac, for its part, insists it takes “direction from one place: the Aipac Board”.
Pretty feeble, no? But here’s the thing. The Israel lobby is easy to mythologise, but it is also surprisingly easy to measure. Foreign lobbying in America is a matter of public record, and so is domestic lobbying and election spending.
So, as a favour to Mehdi Hasan, I dug into the numbers. I looked at what Israel spends compared with everybody else; what Aipac spends compared with the rest of Washington; and where its real power lies. What I found bears almost no resemblance to the legend. Let me explain...

President Putin is a murderer.
His soldiers use rape as a weapon.
He has launched wars costing thousands of lives.
His agents have stolen children and destroyed families.
Russia today is what President Reagan correctly called it: the evil empire.
