When we think "spin to win", we think about some of the nastiest pitches in all of baseball. From a vintage Clayton Kershaw curveball, to Garrett Crochet's sweeper. 🌀 Below we give our thoughts on the class of '26 group of arms with impressive spin rates to see 👇 📝 Class of 2026 🔗👉 loom.ly/5Wg7i7I ⚾ 2026 Showcase Scene 🔗👉 loom.ly/TrQMj2s @PrepBaseball @PB_Uncommitted

We can all agree that Shohei Otani is one of a kind, a unicorn as you would say. It was great working with 2026 RHP/INF Jake Donaldson (@Jake_Donaldson7 ) this week as he got some training in between outings during his fall season. We focused on building athletic movements off the mound comparing his positions at foot strike from both a shuffle throw and his mound delivery. The goal was to tighten up his lower-half sequencing and ensure his delivery stays efficient. A biomechanics analysis showed us his pelvis, trunk, and shoulder rotational velocities to further help with the training focus. On the mound, our emphasis was on mixing all pitches and executing sequences including the FB, SL, and CH. Jake sat 85 mph at 90% effort, showing an easy 87–88 mph in-game potential with a slider spinning in the high 2000s. Uncommitted 2026 arm to keep an eye on 👀🔥 @FlatgroundApp #PitchingDevelopment #GradyPitchingSchool #VelocitySports #BaseballTraining #Pitching #RHP #BaseballDevelopment #Uncommitted #PitchDesign

2026 RHP @Jake_Donaldson7 | Hoover HS FB: 82-85 SL: 70-73 CH: 74 Fast, explosive arm w/ some legit “stuff” on the mound. Quick paced in everything he does. *Have seen the FB in the upper 80s (multiple) ⛽️ SL showed high SR & sharp/late bite. #BeSeen | #PBTPGOhio
