Wait times at DeKalb County, GA polling places. The longest waits are mostly in the Whiter areas of the county. This will look different after people start getting off work, probably. #gapol – at Druid Hills, GA

Cobb County early voting places are mostly busy, but they are spread across the county, in both blue and red places. arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer… #gapol – at Druid Hills, GA

Sometimes, the decisive issues surprise us. – at Druid Hills, GA
A lot of analysts are going to look pretty silly when the exit polls show that undecided voters’ #1 issue in these midterms was the quality of Jon Husted’s ass.

Just called out one of the most egregious cases of stolen valor I’ve ever seen. Uniform all fucked up, hair WAY out of regulation, and completely the wrong age range. And the NERVE to ask me for candy? Get the fuck out of here, child. No way you ever served in the 82nd Airborne.

Bush is a pretty common noun, and I don't remember a meaningful number of people going this bonkers about having to say that word for a type of plant back during 43's Presidency. Trump really has broken these people. – at Douglasville, GA
This is so incredibly lame. And every Princeton freshman was required to sit through this during orientation.

The average Towns County, Georgia voter probably remembers voting for Charles Evans Hughes in 1916. I kid, but Hughes won 7% of the vote here. Towns was the only county he carried. Even the usually reliable Fannin and Pickens, the rest of GA's Unionist trio, defected. #gapol – at Druid Hills, GA

Fannin County is by far Georgia's most reliably Republican County. Since 1884, William Jennings Bryan in 1900 and native son Jimmy Carter in 1976 are the only Democrats to win a majority of Fannin's vote. It is the furthest south of any county FDR never carried. – at Druid Hills, GA

It's worth noting that most of the Georgia counties trailing 2022 turnout are really tiny, and not all are solid red. Abrams+14 Stewart County and Kemp+81 Echols are about 22% below 2022's turnout, but they also cast just 2638 votes between them that year. #gapol – at Druid Hills, GA
