Saying Captain Florence is the shepherd girl in the “Pastoral Song” video I did for my friend Adolf Mayer is like saying Han Solo is Indiana Jones. My Florence merely “played” both characters, but IS not them any more than Harrison Ford IS Solo or Jones.
If you try to reach my website at jamiefraser.ca and can’t get through because of a “bandwidth exceeded” error, it’s not my doing this time. I’ve been getting a lot of crawler traffic to my site lately. I’ve since modified my robots.txt file to suppress ALL crawlers…
When you see a church musician performing, please hold off from offering adulation unless you’re sure this will be his absolute last time performing. His work is a service of continuing need and this will likely NOT be his swan song. facebook.com/share/p/17jBQrJ…

Beware JustAnswer. They charged me $2 for assistance regarding a security matter, but then charged me an additional $66 that they hadn’t made a big noise about—a subscription fee that I would not have authorized if I had known about it up front. Do NOT deal with them!!

Like it or not, playing a copyrighted CD in a church hall constitutes a public performance—which is ILLEGAL without prior written permission from the copyright holder. Just because you own a copy of a CD, that doesn’t give you the right to do anything you want with it!
My Toronto phone number is changing. The new number will be posted to the website soon. In the meantime, the old one will still be active till February 15.
In light of a number of spam calls reaching my Toronto number today, ALL calls to it from unknown numbers will be silenced till further notice. Those of you in the GTA who want to book me should call my Ottawa number for the time being instead unless I have dealt with you before.

With the pandemic subsiding, things are starting to get crazy busy. The choir at St. Augustine's is starting up again, and it won't be long before Cayenne Spice starts operating again. In a few months I'll even be able to start working on my music full time again. Stay tuned!
