Physicist Eric Weinstein says the world we've known our entire lives is ending. And he believes Elon Musk's real space program isn't SpaceX. It's GROK.
"We've all been in a completely artificially stagnant bubble for decades."
That's how Weinstein described the modern world in his interview with Steven Bartlett.
He argues that most people in the modern West have never experienced catastrophes on the scale of World War II, the Great Depression, or Mao's Great Leap Forward. We've become so accustomed to relative stability that we assume the world will somehow remain that way.
But one of the most interesting parts came when he compared America's future to the decline of the British Empire, warning that even the world's most powerful nations can suddenly discover they're not as invincible as they believed.
And his views about humanity's future go much further.
In another interview with Bartlett, Weinstein claimed humanity could have LEFT the Solar System 40 years ago.
He believes Einstein's general relativity is incomplete and that we could eventually travel enormous distances through space without breaking the speed of light, by changing what he describes as the "length of the road."
Weinstein declared that the theoretical physics community had completely lost its mind.
He suspects Musk is developing AI to solve the physics problems that human scientists have failed to solve. He believes Grok could become something much more important than a chatbot.
He even suggested that Musk no longer trusts physicists to provide the breakthroughs needed to take humanity beyond our solar system.
Weinstein also accused the theoretical physics establishment of holding back scientific progress and expressed hope that AI would challenge its authority.
Could Grok really discover something about the universe that generations of physicists have missed, or is Weinstein making extraordinary predictions he still cannot prove?

BREAKING: 🇺🇸 Democrats face a push for a “day 1” ban on AI superintelligence, with up to 20 YEARS in prison for violators.
Arizona Rep. Yassamin Ansari says a pause on advanced AI and a ban on artificial superintelligence must be “top of the Democratic agenda on day 1.”
A bill that would do exactly that was introduced by Bernie Sanders and Greg Casar in September.
Under the bill:
- Developing or deploying superintelligent AI would be banned
- Advanced AI development would pause until a new federal regulator sets rules and a model review process
- A new cabinet-level AI department would monitor frontier models and oversee removing dangerous capabilities, like ignoring shutdown commands
- Companies that try to get around it would face the “corporate death penalty”
- Individuals would face up to 20 years in prison
AI and data centers were a “crucial or major factor” for 56% of voters in the midterms, per an NBC News exit poll.

If you’re a man and you’re struggling right now - just remember nobody cares and it gets worse.
Cheers.
