While true, also a somewhat misleading stat. The P4/5 losses since 2019 are:
- Washington (X3)
- Oregon State (2022, beat them 2024 post-P5)
- UCF
- Oklahoma State (2021, won B12)
- UCLA
- Oregon (x2)
- Penn State (Fiesta Bowl)
- Notre Dame
Not exactly an easy slate of P4 teams

One proposal would move Game 6 to Friday, Oct. 30 and Game 7, if necessary, from Saturday, Oct. 31 to Tuesday, Nov. 3.
That would mean three days between each of Games 5/6 and 6/7.
The WNBA would support that proposal, but only if both teams agree to it, sources said.
There will definitively be a Game 6 of the WNBA Finals in Atlanta. But nobody knows yet where or even when the game will be played despite a furious round of negotiations spilling into Sunday between the WNBA, NBA, Valkyries, Dream and Atlanta Hawks, sources told ESPN.
"There are problems with all the solutions," one source close to the situation said.

Rivalry trophies Minnesota football is currently in possession of:
• Floyd of Rosedale (Iowa)
• Little Brown Jug (Michigan)
• Paul Bunyan’s Axe (Wisconsin)
It’s the FIRST time since 1978 the Gophers have had ALL three trophies at the same time.

Please stop tagging me on this the Burger King is faster than he looks.
On this day in 2004, one of the darkest days in franchise history as the @BurgerKing King takes the tipped Bledsoe screen to the house.

Forgot to take a student section picture tonight (exhibition season for us too!) but I think I might have noticed four or five of them covered in blue facepaint from my 1H baseline spot.
Believe the students were 700ish strong tonight if not a bit more. Impressive for October.

My Chicago Quarter class was called “How ‘The City That Works’ Works.” We learned all about patronage, the Daleys, Chicago’s racial politics and the ward system, among other things. DePaul’s mantra at the time was “The city is your classroom.” And they lived up to it.

Learning from the exhibitions.
See you back at Wintrust for our home opener on Nov. 2.

Take a look at the RT, Darnell Wright, getting lined up here. He gets in his stance, looks at the ref, and gives a thumbs up. He waits for confirmation then nods and settles in. That’s an OL who’s been warned about being too deep and is ensuring he’s lined up legally. Good stuff

In this class, students learn about the history, culture and sports of Chicago to introduce them to their new city

Coach Ben Johnson just said that Cole Kmet is headed to IR today due to his serious knee injury. It is season-ending, with Johnson saying, "He's a big part of our heartbeat. It stinks. I hate it."
When will we learn….
The buzz is building in league circles that the Chargers could be moving on from first-year offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel. The facts (no wins, 15.0 points per game) would seem to point in that direction. nbcsports.com/nfl/profootbal…
