Sad news today. After 5 years of medical training, one of my mates has been struck off due to a minor discretion. He slept with one of his patients and can no longer do the job he loves. What a waste of time and money. Genuinely a great guy and a brilliant vet

The most infuriating thing is not only watching the current crop of refs make appalling errors on a weekly basis, but then also having to sit and listen to former refs (a.k.a. their mates) bend over backwards to defend them

He visto el último set del Alcaraz-Shelton y lo que más me impresiona no es que un tío que se ha pegado 4 meses sin jugar un partido llegue en su primer torneo a cuartos del US Open, se vaya al supertiebreak tras ir 2-1 abajo en sets y llegue a estar minibreak arriba.
Lo que más me impresiona es que después de todo eso acaba perdiendo y el tío sale con una sonrisa de oreja a oreja. Es que ves la imagen sin contexto y piensas que ha ganado. Hay que tener una cabeza privilegiada para eso.
Y haber echado mucho de menos el tenis, claro. Aunque menos de lo que el tenis le ha echado de menos a él 🥚🥚
Fair play to both. Fantastic tournament for Alcaraz given the time off with injury. Huge moment for Shelton getting it done - I've got him and Zverev about 50/50 favourites to go on and lift the trophy now. Expect these two will contest many more quarters/semis/finals in future!
