My 86yr old Uncle told me he invented the 2 pt conversion in football. I laughed.
Then he faxed me this letter, dated August 26, 1957 where he proposes the rule in a letter to Sports Illustrated.
SI published it & college football implemented it in 1958. Is this real? 😱
