Culture War explores the thirty year siege of unionism, and the fightback which has begun.
Part 1 of the book over eight chapters analyses the constitutionally corrosive impact of the Belfast Agreement, the Irish Sea border and nationalism’s relentless targeting of unionist/loyalist culture from Drumcree (which is the focus of an entire chapter as a case study on parading) to the more recent attack on the flying of Union flags and bonfires. It further devotes a chapter to illuminating the political agenda behind nationalism’s divisive Irish Language campaign.
There is a detailed chapter contribution by Ulster University academic Dr Cillian McGrattan (writing in a personal capacity) who, using legacy as a case study, presents a clinical evidence-based exposure of the ‘greening’ of academia and how a small cohort of nationalists have managed to completely control academic output and skew it to suit nationalism’s political agenda.
The book also looks at the structural bias within much of the professional class- in particular within media and the legal profession-and how this has been influenced by a strategic nationalist insurgency to ‘green’ important opinion-forming institutions.
Importantly, Part 2 of the book in three chapters provides the tools for fighting back, explaining the basic outline of Human Rights law and Judicial Review, and how this can be used to defend and advance unionist/loyalist rights.
Culture War is also now available in a number of local shops, and can be purchased in both paperback and hardback directly via Amazon which is the easiest place to order:

@JimAllister tells @MarkCarruthers7
Carla Lockhart has led unionism politically through Drumcree. Where she goes, the grassroots unionist/loyalist community will follow. She has shown integrity, consistency and clarity.
The DUP would do well to listen to her.
EXCLUSIVE: DUP MP Carla Lockhart quits as a party officer in a move which could lead to her leaving the party. She's been on a collision course with Gavin Robinson over Drumcree as she wants him to collapse the Executive now.

Jon Burrows doesn’t understand the legal effect of resigning the DFM. He thinks it “collapses Stormont” and “leads to direct rule”.
This is legally illiterate.
The whole case for the DUP continuing to sustain the lawless mobster has collapsed on the View.
Jim Allister is now literally telling Gavin Robinson off, with Gavin sitting with the head down (and rightly so given what they’ve done), live on TV.
There is no unionist who can credibly defend the DUP’s weakness.
This is car crash stuff for Gavin Robinson on the View. It’s quite clear there is no credible basis for sustaining the chief mobster in office. The case being made by the pro SF-inclusive Executive sycophants cannot survive even the most elementary scrutiny.
“You’re all bark and no bite” BBC tells Gavin Robinson. They are absolutely right.

Well done to this group for challenging the Chief Constable of the PSNI in respect of the two-tier policing, his politicking & the surrender to the nationalist mob made up of PIRA, dissidents and common criminals. belfasttelegraph.co.uk/area/…

Events at Drumcree have seriously undermined unionist confidence in policing, says loyalist focus group belfasttelegraph.co.uk/area/…
How humiliating for the DUP that yesterday the chief Mobster put the DFM out of the Executive committee, but yet still she is sustained in office without consequence.
Superb interview. Proud to have stood with Carla over Drumcree & to call her a friend.
She was in court until 3am. Back at Drumcree at 6am the next morning & was on the streets for over 48 hours with the people, & every day thereafter.
What she has said echoes across unionism. Huge support for her.

Strong interview from Carla Lockhart on Nolan. I’m sure it will chime with many

Has DUP lost all self respect? O’Neill flaunts her defiance, boasting she’s going no where, demonstrating her confidence that the DUP will not face her down. She’s calling their bluff.
Claire Hanna having quite the episode on Nolan. An angry, incoherent rant.
Having stood shoulder to shoulder along with the PIRA, dissident republicans and common criminals as part of the Garvaghy Road mob, Hanna is now thrashing around angrily trying to divert from the unlawful actions of her party.
The hatred seeping from the SDLP. Still Don’t Like Protestants!

Good to see @TGastonMLA take on SF and not allow @StephenNolan to shut him down. He has been an excellent successor to @JimAllister as an MLA

Irish nationalist apologist, Chris Donnelly, equates 35 legally permitted men to parade as "this society will not be going backwards", yet implies having the Irish nationalist terrorist supporting GAA in areas where they're not wanted, as going forward.
Business as usual.
Will the chief Mobster be there?
The Northern Ireland secretary will be in Northern Ireland later for further talks with executive parties to try to break the budget deadlock.
