KMMS Community Service Day

I start every all day advisory with the goal of taking all the pictures. Only made it to 11 a.m. before I forgot to take more. Enjoy some pictures of our day that started with a breakfast potluck and hair straightening. This has been a great group of students! @KMMS_Larsen

It was a great night at our first Academic Triathlon meet in 3 years. One of our 5th/6th teams took 3rd & a 7th/8th team took 2nd. We also had a 5th/6th team and a 7th/8th team win the Mary Ann Berdan creativity award. Sam Horning also won the creativity award as an individual.

The building blocks I bought for my nephews worked as a great visual for teaching the level of organization in organisms.

Homecoming Friday. Look at all that blue in advisory.

Which is better? Friday's results were KFC won in class but Jimmy Johns won online. @KMMS_Larsen

I am doing a new attendance thing in my classroom so each day the students vote on one of two choices. September's theme is fast food restaurants.

Flex selfish and the entire 7th grade (minus a few that left early) on the last day of school. @ Kasson-Mantorville Middle School instagram.com/p/CeAIG2OrXAf/…

I was horrible at taking and posting pictures this year but I was able to get some on Monday during All Day Advisory. @ Kasson-Mantorville Middle School instagram.com/p/CeAHw7zr7YJ/…

It is every 7th graders favorite time of the year 😉 @KMMS_Larsen

Last in person day with Mrs. Smith before her little one arrives after a long week. We teach 7th grade. What is your superpower? @ Kasson-Mantorville Middle School instagram.com/p/CMoAdVAFLqG/…

For filling the container with pop tabs @KMMS_Larsen got 🍓pied. Thank you to @jfague9 for "throwing" the pie. Go KoMets 💙

THANK YOU!!!!! We were able to collect all of these pop tabs in 2 weeks. We are so excited to deliver these to the Ronald McDonald House. Thank you to everyone who donated 💙💙💙 Happy Holidays!

Thank you to all veterans for risking your freedom so we can have ours. Your act of service will never be forgotten!

How good are you at the game of "I Spy?" For my birthday my classroom got LLAMA-BOMBED. Supposedly there are 33 little rubber llamas throughout my classroom. We have only been able to find 32. Can you spot them all? instagram.com/p/CG5vBEkFbU3/…

Snow In October?!? It just means a snowball fight ❄ @ Kasson-Mantorville Middle School instagram.com/p/CGngVbIlp-Y/…

Breakout rooms in session! Loving this new google meets feature that allows my 7 in class still work the 17 at home.

IBM day for 7th graders at KMMS. Students had to build a cell tower that was at least 15 inches tall and that could withstand an earthquake. Some designs faired better then others 😂😂😂 @ Kasson-Mantorville Middle School instagram.com/p/B9mgWanlYM8/…
