The amount of disgusting people on faceit is beyond me, just listened to a few of my fiance's teammates. Starting from boosted, to kitchen jokes, to whore and all they way to r*pe threats.

Aujourd'hui , c’est tout un système qui doit prendre ses responsabilités :
⁃Les auteurs de ces actes, parce que c’est facile d’agir en groupe, dans l’anonymat d’une tribune.
⁃Les spectateurs qui étaient dans la tribune, qui ont tout vu, qui ont tout entendu mais qui ont choisi de se taire, vous êtes complices.
⁃Le club d’Udinese, qui a seulement parlé d’une interruption de match, comme si de rien n’était, vous êtes complices.
⁃Les instances et le procureur, avec tout ce qu’il se passe, si vous ne faites rien, VOUS SEREZ VOUS AUSSI COMPLICES.
Je vous l’ai déjà dit et s’il faut le répéter encore : je ne suis pas une VICTIME. Et je veux dire merci à mon club l’AC Milan, à mes coéquipiers, à l’arbitre, aux joueurs de l’Udinese et à tous ceux qui m’ont envoyé des messages, qui m’ont appelé, qui m’ont soutenu en privé et publiquement. Je ne peux pas répondre à tout le monde mais je vous vois et on est ENSEMBLE.

Just wanted to add my two cents to this.
I do think this job is amazing, much better than anything i've worked before (retail, finance) but its not as wonderful as what you see on the surface.
Just wanted to run through some things from my perspective over the last few years:
Pros -
The travelling - Easily my favourite part, travelling to new countries to work is always a huge plus
Less hours - Work way less than a 9-5 for similar pay, but still have to do more around your work (will touch on later)
The pay - Especially if you get to tier 1 you can live a very comfortable life
The people - To date i haven't met anyone in this industry that i actively hate, dislike or avoid. Whilst people talk about egos, we all fundamentally have to have a bit of vanity to want to be on camera.
Cons -
No job security - There is no guarantee of any work ever, and no one technically owes you anything?
No guaranteed work - I literally have no clue what im working in 2024, bar some online work so far
Income anxiety - No guarantee over whether you can make the bare minimum to live year on year unless u are tier 1
Late payments - has gotten better, and more traditionally happens with smaller companies, but can be annoying to chase
No ownership - Nothing you do as a caster is inherently yours? Compared to maybe acting or music for example (image rights etc)
Stability - Whilst your life is also unstable, the whole industry is too, and you are at the whim of the TO's to live, so essentially nothing is in your control bar your ability.
Fundamentally i adore this job, and have absolutely no thoughts about not continuing, but its high risk, high reward. And very few actually make it to a point of being stress free/stable. Also your free time has to be take up by social media, networking, building a brand, youtube content, streaming etc etc. - Casting is just one part
I would be lying if i'd said i hadn't thought about part time jobs and all the rest, but thankfully at the moment i don't need to and hopefully i wont for a while/ever. but always interested to hear what others have to say/think etc
