The Liquid Network is making steady progress on its staged recovery roadmap alongside enhanced security controls.
AQUA users can currently execute 1:1 swaps between native Bitcoin and @Liquid_BTC directly in AQUA Wallet, following the re-enablement of BTC ↔ L-BTC swaps last week.
The community can track the restoration progress transparently through the official auditable proof of reserves at liquid.network.
Update from the Federation:
BTC<>LBTC swaps were re-enabled last week as part of Liquid’s staged recovery. Users can once again swap between BTC on Bitcoin and LBTC on Liquid at 1:1 through participating providers, including @AquaBitcoin, @BULLBITCOIN_ and @side_swap. These providers collectively accounted for 99% of peg-out volume prior to the incident.
Normal Federation peg-out operations remain subject to enhanced operational controls while security hardening continues and the independent security audit nears completion.
The community can track progress toward restoring full 1:1 BTC backing for LBTC through Liquid’s auditable Proof of Reserves at liquid.network.

I want to correct some of the news reporting as well. Some media outlets were saying peg-outs will only resume when all 600 BTC were added back, but the federation has already been conducting semi-automated peg-outs for the last week to members.
From an end user perspective (users of @AquaBitcoin, @side_swap, or @BULLBITCOIN_) they could already peg-out L-BTC to BTC for more than a week already.
A test transaction for 2.5 BTC was sent to the @Liquid_BTC Federation wallet, reducing the shortfall to 600 BTC. The remaining 600 BTC will be moved to the wallet in the coming days. All network operations are continuing normally.

LIQUID FEDERATION TO TRANSFER REMAINING 600 BTC IN COMING DAYS TO RESTORE FULL BITCOIN BACKING
The Liquid Federation says it successfully completed a 2.5 BTC test transaction and plans to transfer the remaining 600 BTC to its wallet in the coming days, restoring full 1:1 backing for LBTC.
BTC-to-LBTC swaps have already resumed through Aqua, Bull Bitcoin and SideSwap, which handled 99% of peg-out volume before the incident.
Normal peg-out operations remain under enhanced security controls as an independent security audit nears completion.
The Federation says the network continues to operate normally.

The Indra swap service on @AquaBitcoin continues to improve. No longer dependent on a separate service. In my experience, it's quite fast. I'm comfortably back to using Aqua as a daily spending wallet.
