wtf is going on with laplus, and is she screwed? apparently, someone was sending dick pics to her, she crashed on on twitter, and she’s being reprimanded by cover for how she worded it. that being said, it’s impossible to dm the talents because dms are code-walled, but there’s-

the possibility it’s her pl account that’s being dmed. i don’t know what’s going on anymore; all i know is that holo-twitter turned their backs on laplus, but r/hololive is defending her.

tbh, i’m not really excited. i don’t know why, maybe it’s because i’ve been watching other content creators, maybe it’s because i’m just disillusioned with cover corp, but i’m simply just not hyped up like i used too. i wish them well, but overall, not really my cup of tea.

i said it once, and i’ll say it again: we DON’T need corpos anymore. indies are the future. anyone who says otherwise is a bootlicker.

Just wanted to tell you guys, do not be afraid to criticize Hololive Doing so won't make you toxic, a doomposter or hurt your oshi. That's called gaslighting On the contrary, if you love Hololive, then you need to voice your concerns, especially if you love the talents (1/?)

saba’s successful debut stream is proof vtubers do NOT need corpos like hololive or nijisanji to be successful in the vtuber sphere. if any, they are products of a bygone era, back when vtubers were relatively new. now that vtubing is over 5 years old, it’s safe to say indies-

are leaving corpos in the dust. on the contrary: hololive and nijisanji’s practices are holding back, if not harming, vtubers; they are no longer the gold standard.

as someone who’s been in the holofandom before covid, i agree with nyquilsoup. we should’ve left vtubers back 2020.
