Looking at the MASSIVE show count despite limited screens in its 3rd weekend, along with the daily trending of #Jailer2 in Hindi, it feels like Sun Pictures missed a HUGE opportunity by not bringing it to PVR INOX. 🙂
Hindi films often pick up massively through WOM, and #Jailer2 had such strong word of mouth in Hindi circles. With a wider theatrical release, even the ₹300–500 CR range could have been a possibility.
What a missed opportunity !

Raja & Mani were joking abt Rishi not picking phone calls. It's obvious he is busy with promotions, new city everyday & Sananth even explicitly mentioned how he is literally using pen, paper to note down the phone calls (some1 post it).

WOW! WOW! WOW! WHAT A MOVIE — JAILER 2!
THALAIVAR RAJINIKANTH AT HIS ABSOLUTE BEST! 🔥
At the age of 75, the charisma, style, swag and screen presence of Rajini Sir are simply UNMATCHED. Age is just a number when you are THE SUPERSTAR! The man walks on screen, and the entire theatre comes alive.
Anirudh’s BGM is pure madness, especially when paired with Rajini Sir’s iconic slow-motion walks. Those elevations give you instant goosebumps!
And those cameos by Shiva, Jackie Shroff, Mohanlal and Hrithik Roshan — absolutely mind-blowing! What a lineup and what a treat for fans!
The second half and climax are COMPLETE PAISA VASOOL. The mass moments, the elevations and the theatre-shaking sequences are exactly what we crave from a big-screen entertainer.
One of the most satisfying theatrical experiences after a long time. This is cinema meant to be enjoyed on the BIG SCREEN, surrounded by whistles, applause and pure madness.
RAJINIKANTH IS NOT JUST A STAR. HE IS AN EMOTION.
JAILER 2 — PURE MASS. PURE SWAG. PURE THEATRE MAGIC.
THALAIVAR MAGIC IS UNMATCHED! 👑
