I saw Texas make dramatic changes from 2016 to 2026. This was not hard to predict.
As a 6th generation Texan by blood on my mom’s side this pains me to say but we may be looking at Texas becoming California 2.0.

Predictions for Texas once Gina H. takes office.
Some will happen quick some will be within 3 to 5 years.
State Income Tax will be instituted
Property Tax rates will rise.
Homestead exemption freeze will be instituted.
Electricity and Water rates going up (prices will double in 3 to 5 years)
Lawful deportations with ICE will end.
Marijuana will become legalized
Texas migrant population will grow.
Data centers will continue to be built.
Toll Roads distance to increase 50%
Abortion Centers to increase 50%
Texas will institute mass mail in ballot program
Texas will go to the Democrats in 2028.
