Some of my instant reactions from the #Panthers ugly, no good, very bad 43-13 loss to the Buccaneers, via @CatCraveBlog: catcrave.com/7-gut-reactions…

Starting RG Travis Glover is OUT for tomorrow's game.
So are Zaire Franklin and Sean Rhyan.
Matthew Golden, Devonte Wyatt, Brenton Cox Jr. and Anthony Campbell are questionable.
Curhan has been serviceable when playing and will likely be depth for tomorrow night.
I would expect Chau Smith-Wade to get the nod at cornerback opposite Lee tomorrow with Wilson as backup.
The #Panthers are expected to elevate CB Marco Wilson and G/T Jake Curhan from the practice squad for tomorrow night's matchup against the #Packers, a league source tells @espn.

Seeing the mind games #Panthers fans attempt when trying to explain what happened on Sunday is fascinating, and why games like Sunday keep happening.
Simple answer: they were unprepared and outcoached; a total team failure from coaches and players alike. 22 points off turnovers doesn't help either.
The Panthers are dealing with injuries that are still affecting them today. The loss of Nic Scourton is a bigger loss than many are letting on.
You can blame the scheme, injuries, players, coaching decisions, etc. In the end, it was a massive failure and letdown, and a learning experience for a team that is not used to being the hunted.
I would be shocked if Sunday was repeated.
There were numerous factors that played into what happened on Sunday. I don't think coaches are getting fired, but I do think it starts to open the eyes of those coaches and the front office to the fact that they need better depth/talent to succeed this season and beyond. I also think there's going to be a bit of a retooling in March. The product must be better, period.
The #Panthers have two active cornerbacks and seven active offensive linemen for tomorrow against the Packers.
Look for either Corey Thornton, Marco Wilson, or Robert Rochell to be elevated from the practice squad, while either Saahdiq Charles or Jake Curhan get nods for the OL.
With Akayleb Evans out for the #Panthers, whoever starts opposite Will Lee III will be an upgrade.
Dave Canales has mentioned in recent days Chau Smith-Wade, Corey Thornton, and Marco Wilson as possibilities.
Final injury report ahead of tomorrow night is out for the #Panthers.
EDGE Jaelan Phillips (hamstring) is out for the second straight game. CB Akayleb Evans (triceps) and iOL Damien Lewis (knee) are out.
I don’t think that will solve the issues. I’d also say that’s Todd Wash and AC Carter’s jobs to make sure their players are performing better.
Phillips with Jones/Umanmielen is fine as a group, but could be better.
"Yeah, eventually Fernando is going to play football. We have a plan."
The Las Vegas #Raiders face a dilemma in the coming weeks between No. 1 pick Fernando Mendoza and Kirk Cousins.
As the losses continue to mount, a decision will have to be made. My column for On SI: si.com/nfl/raiders/onsi/raid…
Dan Morgan’s 2024 draft was not good, but I’d say the last two drafts he nailed so far.
Star wideout in ‘25 to go along with a developing, high-ceiling rusher (Princely), a future starter in Ransom, and a dependable TE. Unfortunate that Jackson is out for the year bc he’s flashed. TBD on Etiennez
This spring, landed a raw but talent OT for the future, fortified the DL front w/ Hunter, and found two more future starters in the secondary w/ Lee and Wheatley. Kuwatch is a ++ ST’er.
Unfortunate that Brazzell and Scourton got hurt. Both would’ve been big for this team.

I’m a defender of logic and using your lol.
Blaming injuries on the DC is neither of those though
This is the only panthers personality who is close to panthers beat writers like @Sheena_Marie3 & @josephperson
And he’s an Evero defender 💔

On a short week and desperate for change, the Carolina #Panthers must increase roles for specific players on the roster.
3 players who deserve bigger roles as Carolina looks to spark a response against the Packers: catcrave.com/3-carolina-pant…
First of all, moving Kirk Cousins if Fernando Mendoza becomes the starter by the trade deadline would be…ill-advised.
What doesn’t make sense here is Cousins being a fit for *squints* the Carolina #Panthers.
