The 11 seed that draws Missouri on Selection Sunday is going to throw one heck of a party.
FINAL: Kentucky 91, #Mizzou 83. The Tigers finish the regular season 21-10, 10-8 in the SEC. They will be either the 7 or 8 seed in the SEC Tournament and play next Thursday.
Every conference tournament bracket should look like the Sun Belt's.
Reward the teams with the best regular seasons. Punish the ones with the worst.
The committee didn’t punish anyone for playing yesterday. Texas, Penn State and Notre Dame remain in the same order. SMU still in.
As it should be. They nailed it.
Man, I feel genuinely bad for Georgia Tech. Completely dominated a top 10 team on the road and are probably going to lose.
Georgia’s gonna be a three-loss 3 seed in the CFP.
We need to get rid of the conference champion auto top 4 thing next season.
Voters are largely unqualified to vote in this poll. They’re almost all local beat reporters who don’t watch the games because they’re focused on reporting for the team they cover. They just look at final scores and lazily move teams up or down with disproportionate recency bias.
#Mizzou *drops* in the polls this week after a comeback win against Auburn:
Down 2 spots (passed by Pitt and Illinois) to No. 21 in the AP Poll.
Down 1 spot (passed by Kansas State) to No. 17 in the Coaches Poll.
Gotta say, I don’t get it. At all.
Serious question: Given what we now know about Michigan, Mississippi State and Oklahoma, what should Texas be ranked if they lose this game by 20+ at home?
I’d argue not top 10, and maybe not top 15.
NOW they want to see if he can go?
Official word from the team is that #Mizzou will see if Brady Cook can go here.
For those wondering by its 3-3 at halftime…
