As tempting as it is to enjoy a brewery tap room today (glorious sun out, cabin fever setting in), continuing to practice social distancing is the only responsible approach. Kills me to see what will happen to a lot of places I love but they can't really protect folks vs this.

At a “really nice bottle shop” and seeing aisle after aisle of shelf turds. The selection is incredible, amazing collection of beer, but so much of it is just rotting on the shelves. This isn’t good for craft long term, and these breweries are over extended.

A managers amendment including a 1-year extension of recalibrated federal excise taxes rates was submitted to the Rules Committee last night. Still needs to be voted on by and signed into law, but if passed it would extend the current FET rates through 12/31/2020
