I spoke my prayer aloud tonight to my father as I took long drags from my cigar. I told him about his grandkids. I told him that I love him and that I pray that his soul has found peace. I asked that my grand father and great grand fathers receive him and take care of him until I make the journey too. This Vetrnætr, while simple in making an offering, felt more meaningful.

Just rewatched Dune and MAN, I forgot how much of a drag Chani is. Just scene after scene of pouting and scowling while Paul unites her people and heroically leads them to victory over the outworlders that have plagued them for centuries. Truly the wettest of blankets.
