I've always suggested money is about freedom. Time and energy are our basic currency. We trade time and energy for money. The more money we gain allows us to recapture time and energy. Or you can just trade money for stuff....

The disrespect is disgusting. That’s not humbling. It’s more like kicking when down and spitting on you.
The disrespect in them even having the nerve to say it reveals their character. You don’t spend energy on low character. Move on
Forgiveness should always be on the table. But when people feel personally violated asking for forgiveness is not enough. More often that requires repentance. Repentance seeks forgiveness along with the promise to change so to never repeat the same offense
