Here are teams scoring efficiencies relative to their schedule through week 5...
Top right: Good offense and defense
Bottom right: Good offense/bad defense
Top left: Bad offense/good defense
Bottom left: Bad at football
Everyone in washington should be fired for that. The Giants did everything they could to hand them a win and they did that?
Jurgens is 4.576 this year and 14.9 next year. Johnson is kind of up in the air. My guess is 21m this year, something like 12m in 27 and 14m in 28 with a 4m cap credit in 27 as well. All depends on how much of his option he keeps. Since he only played 3 games im guessing not much

@Jason_OTC just for clarification what is the expected dead cap hit combined for the 2 years for Lane and the dead cap hit combined for the 2 years for Jurgens
No its based on not extending last year and letting him be a ufa in 26. Comp in 27. cost is $0 to philly since no raise in 25 and no bonus for 26

The comp pick like 3 years from now? When he was going to be benched for Kendall and who knows if his back will even hold for another 3? C'mon now lol
They basically paid $17m for a 2 and 5. Many would be taken to task for that decision matrix when the alternative would have neen a 3rd or 4th comp pick for free
There is far too much being made of the cap charges associated with Lane Johnsons retirement and what are actual cap disasters.
A cap disaster is not a 36 year old ot retiring where worst case is something like 17m dead in 27 and 26 in 28 which are basically same numbers as him on the team
We are losing sight of whats a cap mess.
Cap disasters are caused by multiple contracts being bad or voiding at once. Miami with 180m in dead money and still deferring over 50m is a disaster.
Keeping a bunch of players on bad contracts because you have no choice is a cap related disaster. .
A retirement on an old contract where a team knows its year to year is not close
No its already cheap. Basically 51 for 4 years.

What are the cap implications for the Ravens. I don’t understand how these void/option proration heavy contracts are effected by trades
A look at the potential salary cap fallout of Lane Johnson's retirement from the Eagles
