Why don't my other posts work like this? I think most of my audience is from React Native, hence the Mac and web apps I ship get almost nothing.
People making open-source clones of successful apps and SaaS products are the ones who have never earned a single dollar online.
Seeing a lot of devs here with suspended Apple developer accounts. Mine was terminated too, and Apple never told me why.
What helped: macOS only checks apps your browser downloaded. Users who install with one Terminal line never see "Apple could not verify".
How it works, and when it's safe:

$114K in revenue. Apple is deleting my account for "fraud".
Over a tiny update I tried to ship 6+ months ago.
8+ rejections. 1 call with App Review. 1 full app rename.
Still rejected. Now my app is off the store, and my whole account is next.
Here's the full story:
The update added one new library. That's it.
Rejected: change keywords that had been there for over a year. mm okay.
Rejected: change a subtitle in some random localization. if it helps..
Rejected: screenshots.
Rejected: the same stuff, all over again.
Rejected: rename the entire app.
That one hurt. Most of my traffic comes from people searching that exact name.
So I asked for a call. Surely we could clear this up live.
The reviewer was genuinely great. He said the name was the last thing, everything else looked good.
So I renamed the whole app, submitted, went to sleep.
3 days later. Woke up to a generic rejection. Subtitle, screenshots, the full combo. Again.
So I asked myself: do I REALLY need this update?
I didn't. I dropped it and moved on.
Today, in that same old thread: "Pending Termination Notice. Evidence of Dishonest or Fraudulent Activity."
My appeal is with the App Review Board.
If it fails, this is what termination means:
Every app I've built, gone.
Every user, gone.
And I can never open a new developer account. Ever.
All over one library update I never shipped.
How do we solve a miscommunication like this?
Wrote up why I built Dropple: a photo going two metres from phone to laptop shouldn’t need a trip through the cloud.
No account, no server, nothing to install on the phone. Just your own Wi-Fi.

StayUp: Keeps your Mac or PC awake and your Teams/Slack status green, even with the lid closed.

Nap: Calm, minimal screensavers for the Mac, plus live wallpapers for Android.

Stayup crossed 100 downloads and generated 1 sale, taking a month to achieve this 100:1 ratio.
Although I did not expect that one sale, perhaps being slow is not always a failure.
StayUp 2.0 is out.
Close your MacBook and let your AI agents keep working. Closed-lid mode keeps it awake for up to 4 hours, then puts sleep back.
Also new: a fresh look, and Away breaks so Teams isn't green every single minute.

Dropple is out: AirDrop for Windows and Mac, with any phone.
Drop a file on the notch → it's on your phone. Send a photo from your phone → it's on your PC. Your own Wi-Fi, no account, no cloud. Android app now on Google Play.

Tilt your phone and the wallpaper tilts with it 📱
New in Nap: Real. The ball rolls downhill, the plane glides, the clock turns to face down, the cube stays put. All drawn live, no permissions needed.
My screensavers just woke up on Android 📱
Nap turns them into live wallpapers: a flip clock, a paper plane, a pendulum wave and more, in the colours you pick.
