If you’re a Democrat, I don’t care. If you’re a Republican, I don’t care. If you scream “BLOCK SOMEBODY” to the offensive line at football games, you suck.

Blake Griffin says youth sports generates $40 billion in annual revenue, more than the NFL, by selling dreams to families whose kids most likely will never go pro “The youth sports industry generates $40 billion dollars in annual revenue.” “Forty billion dollars is almost twice the revenue of the NFL. So, just think about that. Youth sports is generating more money than the pros off of kids that most likely will never go pro.” “But for parents, there’s nowhere else to go because private equity firms are buying up all the places kids play.”
Blake Griffin says youth basketball has changed for the worse after paying $140 just to watch his own son play, more than some NBA games “I was at my son’s basketball tournament this past weekend, and I paid $80 for a wristband to watch my own kid play, and $60 to park for the weekend.” “That’s on top of everything else.” “You can see NBA games for that much, sometimes less.” “And I realized as I was watching my son play, or actually as I was watching parents berate a poor referee, that something has changed from when I was a kid, and I don’t think it’s for the better.”

Joe Milton is 100% going to throw for 512 yards and 4 TDs when the Eagles beat the Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day by a final score of 42-38.
The #Eagles are making a QB change: It’ll be Joe Milton III for Sunday’s game against the #Giants, sources tell @AdamSchefter and me. Less than a month after signing in Philly, Milton takes over for Tanner McKee.

Why does Jerry not respect the position of head coach? Because he believes his first head coach has received too much credit for those Super Bowls.

When Ole Miss comes to Norman in two weeks, OU will be staring down the barrel of 3 straight home losses for the first time since – you guessed it! – the John Blake era. 1997.

Embarrassing HC, OC, AD,President and Board of Regents. The team and the fans have quit BV and the OU Admin. Arrogance and bad decisions can kill even a proud program like OU.

Listen. I know Brent Venables just signed an extension. I know he’s got a $50m buyout. I know his staff is limping thru yet another janky season. But from 2022 to 2026, the one common thread has been the head coach. If OU fans want to see something different, they’ll have to demand a change at the top. Otherwise, the pattern will continue as it has for five years in a row. Show me the evidence that suggests otherwise. This is looking very much like the even-year MO: 6-6 and a loss in some rumdum bowl game.

I asked Brent Venables if he plans to make any offensive staff changes. “Yeah, I’m not talking about anything like that.” #Sooners

The Milwaukee baseball stadium used to be called Miller Park, named after the brewing company. It is now named American Family Field, named after the insurance company. Notice in today’s massive victory parade that all the players and fans are drinking Miller Lite beer. And none are buying insurance policies.
