I haven't seen any concrete evidence that the recent increase in online discourse trying to drive a wedge between America, on the one hand, and Israel and India, on the other (two countries likely to play a critical role in 21st century military and economic competitiveness), is run by China.
At the same time, if I was the newly appointed head of China's Ministry of State Security and I found out we *weren't* running a massive online operation to drive a wedge between America and Israel/India, I'd fire pretty much everyone.
So much pushback from Democrats on this post lauding the Cheesecake Factory you’d have thought I said something more controversial for Dems like, “Israelis deserve to live.”
I'm objectively a rich coastal elite and I love Cheesecake Factory and so do most of my friends. CF is a minor culinary miracle. Its menu has 225 dishes and nearly all are prepared from scratch daily on-site. I'd even bet that Obama knows this. He's not out of touch, he's just a nouveau riche try-hard who wants to look sophisticated.

Given current economic trends and emerging relationships with China and India, Israel is ~10 years away from having the capacity to impose crippling technological sanctions on countries that pull this kind of stunt -- and Israelis have a notoriously long memory. This effort will shift all contracts to an outcomes-driven model and incorporate performance metrics. We are also seeking feedback from the community and providers throughout this process.
Our administration is fundamentally transforming how the city tackles homelessness and addiction. We are not just getting people off the streets—we are helping them get on the path to recovery and stability.
But that work can only succeed with a system that is built to deliver results, with accountability when the outcomes aren't good enough. We are not going to continue spending $1 billion of taxpayer money on a failing system—we're fixing the system so we can deliver the safe and clean streets every San Franciscan deserves.

Rejected by 16 colleges. Hired by Google. Now his family’s discrimination lawsuit is moving forward.
Stanley Zhong had a 1590 SAT score, a 4.42 weighted GPA and was hired by Google as a full-time software engineer after graduating high school. His family alleges elite universities discriminated against him and other highly qualified Asian-American applicants.
A federal judge is now allowing Stanley’s Title VI claims against the University of Washington to proceed, opening the door to discovery and potential access to internal admissions documents, communications and data.
The university says it is pleased the court dismissed many of the claims and maintains its admissions process is highly competitive, particularly for out-of-state applicants.
