Wrapped up our lessons on UV radiation and ozone depletion with a hands-on lab using UV color-changing beads! We explored 3 variables alongside the control: SPF 100 & SPF 60 sunscreen, & shade. Insightful discoveries made! #WEareSparta @Mrs_Flores_VVEC @RubyLucero23 #ScienceEd
My Thursday classes didn't disappoint with their invasive species public service flyers to close out this section. I had them present in small groups then each group picked one to present to the entire class.

What better way to close out our invasive species lessons than to create public service flyers! Students chose a state then selected an invasive species to research. Tuesday classes presented in small groups. Can't wait to see the Thursday classes.

My mom noticed this at 8:15AM when she saw her backyard flooding. Worker spray paintef SPEP & an arrow pointing to it. Said it would be 1-2 hours for them to get out here to dig and turn off the water, then another 2-3 hours to get it fixed.
What happened to conserving water???
Bel Air versus Hanks is live streaming right now in Rocket League! @BelAirHigh

Shout-out to Bridget and Noe running production for both boys and girls soccer games twice this week! A good tripod will let you adjust it so that you can film through a window and not have to be standing filming in the cold🙂👍

Awesome #FirstDayHike @HuecoTanksSP with @ElGuapoGPadilla this morning. Our group didn't let the cold, wind & rain stop them from having fun. We went 2 miles in 3 hrs while scrambling & learning about the history, flora, fauna & geology of this Oasis in the Desert.
@TPWDparks
We had a couple days of rain after Thanksgiving in our beautiful desert. Couldn't help myself when I kept seeing raindrops on my tour out @HuecoTanksSP
It was a gorgeous day, for sure. #chihuahuandesert #raindrops #desertrain
It was a beautiful, foggy, and rainy morning for our tour out at @HuecoTanksSP
@ElGuapoGPadilla and I took out the newest class going through the Volunteer Guide Service Training.
It's never too early to get on the list of interested vendors!! Can't wait for our third Con.😁
