Donald, Wall Street rallied Wednesday after Democrats won Congress. On Thursday, AI and chip stocks led a brutal selloff. Same election. Two opposite trading days. But apparently the market now runs on whether voters hurt your feelings.
And “you only have yourselves to blame” is a remarkable thing for a president to tell Americans watching their retirement savings shrink. When stocks rise, you claim the credit. When they fall, you blame the people who elected you. You’re supposed to govern for the whole country, even the people who vote against your party. Apparently you’re president of all Americans until some of them vote Democratic. Then they’re on their own.

This is disgusting. I know from Trump’s first term how these threats can send a chill down the spine of leaders of conservative groups. That said, most of them deserve to go down with the ship. Only a few put distance between themselves and this admin before Tuesday night.
