A6: I often didn’t know what to do when my Ss and/or Ts wouldn’t share or how to interpret when they were sharing, but the 5 Practices have helped me more forward along with an incredible group of educators I have learned from and with. #elemmathchat

Big shout out to @JenHataway & @MathSdpbc for sharing these @SavvasLearning SuccessMaker certs. My Ss need to get refocused and as a class set different goals aka clubs for our questioned answered with appropriate scores each week and rewarding the most growth for the week.

Veteran’s Day LCES: Students recycled plastic bottles to recreate the poppies of Flanders Fields. We engineered the stems, calculated the area our “field” covered, read The Poppy Lady and analyzed the poem “In Flanders Field” for literary devices. @PrincipalLCE @pbcsd @PBCSTEM
