I dug myself into a hole and now intend to profit from it.
Today I've filed against Adelaide University in the Federal Court for breaching my workplace rights to academic freedom and free speech. Since November last year I've been subjected to multiple investigations and am now facing more than 200 allegations and sub-allegations. My crime? That I don't comply with the leftwing orthodoxy of the academy. Not a single allegation pertains to my teaching or research but to an opinion that I hold on abortion, trans ideology, Islam and consent. The university disagrees with my opinion on these controversial topics and has been pursuing me, since last November through multiple misconduct investigations and legal letters sent by their firm Baker McKenzie. Last year, instead of forgiving debts the Albanese government had no way of validating... they passed laws to validate questionable debts. This is at the same time they resumed unlawful payment cancellations. Turn down the temperature for who? au.finance.yahoo.com/news/ce…

The same with suspensions related to other activities. If you can complete the activity or have a valid reason or reasonable excuse why you have not completed it, then your Employment Service is required to end the suspension. #KnowYourRights #JobSeeker dewr.gov.au/assuring-integri…

I'm struggling to see the advantage in boomers downsizing when we need the value of a 3 bed house to pay a room bond in #AgedCare, plus the "care packages" to get essential services. Bad luck if you don't own your home or have enough to pay the full bond or add-ons.#auspol

If you are a single mother that works as a cleaner at the local Catholic school, Catholic hospital, Catholic Aged Care Home, Catholic Child care centre or a Catholic charity in NSW Australia you can be sacked or denied employment just because you are a single mother. The federal sex discrimination account (SDA) and the NSW anti discrimination act have both abandoned those that need anti-discrimination reforms the most ( intersex peeps, trans & gay kids & staff in religious schools, gender diverse peeps in our prisons & sex workers). NSW is still surgically sterilising intersex babies FFS! This is what @ChrisMinnsMP and @AlboMP call equality in NSW and Australia.

I'm beginning to understand why the word resilience is used so much in education and for people with chronic health conditions/disabilities. Resilience means you will not get the supports you need, so you need to build your own community and strategies to survive.

At a time when income support has massively fallen behind the cost of living, a government who chooses to punish people for being unemployed. #EndMutualObligations #RaiseTheRate
From the @TheAusInstitute - Cancellations for people who fail to reconnect with employment services within four weeks are set to resume on October 26, more than two years after being paused. “We are extremely alarmed by this announcement that will see the screws turned even tighter on welfare recipients who are already under so much strain,” said The Antipoverty Centre co-coordinator Jay Coonan. Two subsequent reports by the Commonwealth Ombudsman exposed unlawful cancellations and failings in how affected people were compensated. But welfare groups have accused the government of pushing ahead without detailing how it has fixed the identified failures. “Last year, our own analysis revealed that roughly 310,000 people had had their payments cancelled illegally,” said Economic Justice Australia CEO Kate Allingham. The gov is putting on a great show of transparency around its handling of this massive welfare scandal – but the sleight of hand isn't distracting us from the fact that the whole system of punishment seems to be operating unlawfully. Most payment cancellations are back next week

Last weekend a First Nations woman in custody in Queensland was shackled to a hospital bed as she gave birth prematurely by caesarean. Medical staff tried and failed to have the chains removed. The brutality is cruel and unnecessary.
