Just read yet another rate study that uses system financial capability indicators to describe the "affordability" of the utility's rates.
For the thousandth time:
System financial capability ≠ Household affordability.
I will miss you dearly @lianakreamer ! Working with you has and always will be one of the greatest highlights of my time @CdnWaterNetwork. It's been a privilege ❤️💙❤️💙

Wow. Very early in the season.
After eliminating other possible contaminants, the provincial government has concluded that a blue-green algae bloom is the cause of toxins in the water at Grand Lake, near Halifax. cbc.ca/news/canada/nova-scot…
Love this outreach from the @1stLadyOfWater, Cathy Bailey - always inspiring us folks in the water sector to do and be better!💙💙💙

This! A game changer! Our chance to do the right thing is close to getting funded! When it happens, let's play the game like we mean it & make investments & improvements that are equitable for all residents & communities. Thx @USWaterAlliance for yrs of sharing @TheValueofWater.
Today @POTUS released an ambitious infrastructure plan, the "American Jobs Plan,” that included an unprecedented and historic $111 billion investment in water infrastructure. Through our campaign, @TheValueofWater, we have long championed investment in water infrastructure.
I am also loving these new bike lanes. For the first time ever I actually enjoyed my commute from Dundas to Coronation to grocery shop at the No Frills! Happy, safe cycling days!!!
Replying to @DavidTrueman
Managed to navigate my way through Cambridge — will be great to have more wayfinding signage soon, @Kathryn_McGarry — great to have that safe stretch down Coronation and then that bit of beauty under the 401 of all places! Love those roadside wildflowers on Hopewell Creek Rd.

Our season right now is everything! COVID-19 was the reason so many were glued to tv/social media & saw the video of George Floyd. We were looking at COVID but saw George! Water peeps, what comes into view for you after this? Think about it for at least 8 minutes & 46 seconds.

Had a great time this morning with @CdnWaterNetwork’s municipal consortium leadership group, touring Eau Claire and learning about flood mitigation measures in downtown Calgary. Thank you to our guides and hosts @cityofcalgary!
#JohnCopp from #PrimodalInc confirms an issue recently explored in @CdnWaterNetwork's report “Using Better Data" – it’s difficult to implement a technology or initiative in your system without good quality data. It’s not about quantity, it’s about quality! #NWWC2019
#RichardLoeffler @XylemInc highlights how #digitaltwin systems, #AI & #machinelearning has helped utilities manage increasing intensity and frequency of wet weather events. Co-benefits? reduced infrastructure spending and less burden on cities' poorest citizens. #NWWC2019
