So just to be clear. Two women and a baby went into Walmart and bought diapers. Someone reported them for stealing the diapers after they left the store. They got in their car and started driving away, unaware of any problem. Police pulled up, fired into the moving vehicle and killed the baby. The only people who DIDN'T make a mistake here were the ones in the car.

So in Mississippi, taking a plan B is murder But killing a 1 year old black child by a police officer is justifiable

I don’t usually post about full requests or passes but—a literary agent said they found my query excellent and marvelous & pitched it to another agent outside of their agency—and she’d love to see it! I got a referral link to the closed agent. Wish I could thank the og agent!

So, I did get to thank the referring agent on DM. I wanted her to know I appreciated her! She said I was kind & The reality of being an agent is often you come across undeniably *great* concepts and pages, but just don’t click on a personal level & wished me the best of luck! 😭

Every single Republican president in my life has started a war in the Middle East and crashed the economy. Why is ANYONE rightwing, I genuinely don't understand.

Making a rape allegation does not save your reputation. The moment you say you’re a rape victim your life is ripped apart The rapist (and rape apologists) will do anything they can to discredit you Women are not alleging rape to “save face” They’re doing it to stop rapists.

“Women cry rape because they’re worried about their reputations!” No. Making a rape allegation is devastating to our “reputation” It ensures we will be shamed, disparaged and harassed It obliterates our privacy It’s scary as hell No one is making a rape allegation lightly.

I'm finally querying again, yay! ....With a misspelled word on my first sample page. Yep. Sparce=sparse. Word didn't go all red line on me when I needed it to. Face slap. I just added this line in, after a recent editor critique asking for more creepy noises or some such.
