Keelon Russell buried his twin sister 2 weeks after arriving on campus. She was also talented. She was going to play basketball. Keelon worked through it and won the starting job as a sophomore. ESPN hasn’t given him an ounce of the respect he deserves.

Missed this yesterday: It looks like Derrick Henry sent all of Alabama's running backs Gameday Boots.
"To the Alabama Running Backs,
"You've put in the work and battled through the first month of the season -- love what I'm seeing from this room. I wanted each of you to have a pair of Alabama Gameday Boots to wear with pride and represent the Tide. Keep grinding, stay hungry, and go handle your business. Roll Tide!"

Lolololololol Nick is ruthless
Utah head coach Morgan Scalley revealed during Saturday’s College GameDay broadcast that a conversation with Nick Saban about defensive schemes left him questioning his understanding of football.
Scalley reportedly recalled Saban criticizing his defensive approach during a discussion about Cover 3 coverage, telling him, “Son, that’s not Cover 3. That’s three defensive backs watching a touchdown from different angles.”

I miss the days when our defense was a bunch of bloodthirsty headhunters who carried a celebratory axe on the sidelines.

Alabama CB Chuck McDonald lost his mom, Tameka, to a heart attack on October 21, 2023.
Three years and three days later, her son recorded his first interception.
Chuck told me after the game,
“That one is all for her!”
A tremendous amount of talent and NIL money, amazing facilities, a huge fanbase, and an elite legacy. It’s all been squandered. This is a subpar coaching issue.

🏈 LOUISIANA CAREER PASSING TOUCHDOWN RECORD 🏈
CONGRATULATIONS to Elijah Haven '27 on breaking the STATE RECORD for career passing touchdowns! The previous record was 145 passing touchdowns, held by Brock Berlin from Evangel. Elijah threw his 146th career passing touchdown in the third quarter of tonight's victory over Episcopal with a touchdown throw to Jarone Harris '27.
Elijah already has broken the total (passing + rushing) touchdown record, breaking that in last years State Championship game. He is up to 197 total touchdowns for his career after tonight, with 147 passing and 50 rushing.
We are SO PROUD of Elijah and the way that he represents our school, both on the field and off the field. Congratulations again, and GO TIGERS!

Airbnb hosts are 💯angry their extra cleaning fee profit was eliminated, and maybe they’ll need to use that fee to hire a real cleaner to complete those tasks. I’ve done turnover cleaning for rentals. Stripping the beds, loading the dishwasher, etc. saved me maybe ten mins 1/2
